We obtained 4 estimates for a solar project on our property. We have a unique property with perceived limitations that 3 of the 4 companies all but dismissed for a solar array and battery. We have lived fully off grid for about 15 years and have had experience with a number of solar contractors during that time. The primary problems I have run into in the past have been contractors who claim expertise they turn out not to actually have, low quality of work, work not getting done in a timely manner, and opaque billing that allowed me no ability to budget. Commonwealth Solar has none of those problems: they exceeded all of my expectations and have been hands-down the best of the best I have had the pleasure to work with.

They are extremely knowledgeable, skilled, efficient, and honest. The entire project took less than 6 weeks from initial quote request to done, and 3 weeks of that was my own delay due to travel plans. Once I was back and able to let them start they had installation done in 3 days, including the time it took to remove the old panels. The Commonwealth Solar team wrote a detailed proposal and stuck to it, and when I considered a few additions midway through, they let me know up front what those would cost, so there were zero surprises when the final invoice came. All costs were fully transparent and reasonable. Anytime I had questions, they answered quickly and in as much detail as I needed.

The quality of their work is top-notch and I was impressed by their solid expertise, how efficiently they got the job done, and how perfectionist they were with every detail. I recommend them 100%.
