Ran into the MAG Solar team as I was going into the home Reno show in 2025 and I set up a consult with them not really expecting to actually get solar. After speaking with the sales rep and looking at the rebates and loans available we decided to put in a system. MAG was understanding when I had to put install off until the fall due to other things that came up but were also willing to put a rush on it in fall to get it done before the snow flew. Big props to Jake who put up with me watching him and asking questions the whole day while he installed our new electrical panel. Unfortunately the panels are buried under ice and snow right now so we will see how they perform come spring and summer.

We get to see live feeds of how much energy our solar panels are harnessing throughout the day where it reflects on our home's energy bills. Had a great experience with MAG Solar. They started the process in the fall, but we were waiting until the spring because we were getting our shingles replaced. MAG did all the designing and almost all of the paperwork, including showing us how and where to apply for the government loan and grant. They completed the entire project in one day and did a great job cleaning up after. Once the inspections were completed, we switched on the solar and we've been saving ever since. Jake was our go to guy for the installation, and he did a great job of answering any questions quickly and explaining the process thoroughly. would definitely recommend MAG Solar to anyone looking to start collecting solar.
