See below to see the original post.Updated pics as well you can see how much down time the system has....my experience started off well the largest part of my problems came when I installed a larger system wanting a fully self-sufficient system. I was sold a system that doesn't provide for what I need or what I want although I chocked this up to the sales guy not having the experience at the time to know that I needed two battery sets to be able to run my AC and all of my power needs for me to be completely off grid.that's only part of the issue that came with expanding. Add on that for months since April i believe until now I have been waiting on a part that the manufacturer (after having me troubleshoot my own system because they wouldn't come out and troubleshoot the system themselves) let me know that I was missing a "shedder" and that it needed to be installed to stop the consistent power outages 154 since march (that are between 5 and 9 secs equal to 16+ hours currently of down time see pics below.) that I get during the random parts of the day.On top of this my panels are not running at Peak efficiency. Why you ask? because every time it resets they have to build back up charge per manufacturer.anyway so I actually lost money by upgrading and increasing the amount of panels and including a battery, go figure.Update manufacturer suggested calling in report to the better business Bureau.Got a hold of someone today who's supposed to try and get me an answer they looked at my file it was escalated in April and nothing has been done since so they're trying to figure out what's next. Well in about 3 weeks that payment's not going to go through I talk to my attorney on Monday to see if them not installing that last part after this long counts as them not finishing the project within the 3-month time span and if so I'll just terminate the contract under breach of contract and be done with this. Also when signing up for financing pay attention to not just interest rate but your service writing fee which is like $6000 I believe. So while you have a 1% interest rate you're paying $6,000 for them to do paperwork.Sep 28 still no word on the part and house just surged again. Sorry but not even ricky is saving you from a one star review at this pointJuly 2025 system still goes offline whenever my AC kicks on finally got with enphase directly and they sent out help what we found out was that at times the line power is within range but two imbalanced one from the other that the system switches over to battery even though the house and electronics in the house are fine and would be fine on line power but the system automatically will switch it over to battery which can't handle the AC compressor which then goes into erratic shutdown.Sept 2025 in phase denied RMA for inverter that hasn't been working reason being it's a used part that premier sold me and installed On my house which voids the warranty picture below.to start with I read some of the negative reviews and I'm kind of shocked, I've had my system since last year and everything was done quickly. and it's been producing well. I called back to expand it and add a battery backup and they came and spoke with me and brought my new equipment right out the next morning. the battery had to be ordered but I've yet to be lied to with any of the times or equipment today so I see no reason why that would change now. I don't work for them I do work oilfield electronics and I own a repair business before someone says I work for the company.Ricky and his crew did an amazing job, answered all my questions and helped me build the system I wished to build and modify my current existing system to meet my desired outcome. great experience all around. he and his team installed everything and after they left you'd have never known they were there except for the now solar covered roof. he was quick to reply to any concerns or questions I had about the system and app. Overall couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Stay away, the positive reviews here are absolutely fake. Do not do business with this company. If you still doubt me, just try to call them. You’ll not get an answer, and then as soon as you hang up you’ll get a call from a call center claiming to be PAIC. They finally showed up months after I made the deal at almost 5 PM, rushed through the entire installation to get it done before dark. These people installed solar panels on my house(in the ugliest possible way and also never bothered showing me how to access the monitoring app) and spent three months screwing up the paperwork required to connect them to my meter. Which conveniently put them over the 90 workmanship guarantee. After being connected to the meter they have never and I mean never in the almost two years since they were installed worked in any measurable way. I believe I have 24 panels so with the 100 dollar removal and 100 dollar replacement fees charged by this company it would cost almost 5000 dollars for them to come out and fix THEIR OWN MISTAKE. And based on the other reviews they would want to be paid well in advance so they could come “at their own convenience” months later. So in summary, I have now taken my electric bill and doubled it, while at the same time making my house ugly. What a joke.
Stay away!! This company is very unethical. I highly recommend you reach out to your lender if anything fraudulent has happened to you while getting Solar with them with a loan. Any company that offers side services to be added onto your loan such as HVAC, turf, pergola, or anything that is relating to home improvement should be able to comply and give you those funds and not keep them. I worked with them one summer and I have gotten complaints from those homeowners that I stay in touch with. Premier Solar won’t answer my calls, that includes Anita the owner’s wife- Travis Jones also changed his number****
Unfortunately, I purchased my system from a bad sales representative. But, I have since began communicating with PAIC directly and everything has made a 180 turn. The reps are kind and listened to the issues I was experiencing, past tense because everything has since been taken care of. Ricky and crew came by for a final issue and promptly took care of it. During this visit, a service rep was contacted for a post installation survey which covered everything from trash pickup to overall satisfaction. I look forward to saving on electricity and being more green while doing so.Review date 8/15/2023This is a buyer beware notice. My panels had been working great until 1 panel went dark. With a 25 year warranty, I contacted PAIC to report the issue. To my surprise, I was informed that the panel would be replaced as per warranty but, I was responsible for $100 removal and $100 installation for a total of $200. This is not what I would call free replacement of a faulty panel. What if 2 panels went dark, would my bill be $400? Buyers please be aware, the sales person, your contract nor PAIC will tell you this information. I believe this to be poor business practice and will no longer be recommending this company.Update 1/10/2024It's been 4 months since the panel was scheduled to be replaced. As anticipated, the panel has not been replaced and PAIC does not have an estimated date of repair. Payment for replacement was expected immediately but service from PAIC is non existent, to say the least. Once again, please consider all your options before doing business with this company.Update 02/19/2024The issue remains unfixed. Now the company states they are not servicing my area and want me to have a third party fix the panel. They conviniently changed their policy to not service my area after agreeing to fix a panel they installed. They have not refunded my initial payment. PLEASE LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR SOLAR PANEL NEEDS. THIS COMPANY HAS NO BUSINESS IN BUSINESS.
