Our MN Solar install was completed in 2020 and 5 years later this system has been excellent. First and foremost, MN Solar did an amazing job with the contracting arrangements, communications on the project and installation of the system. We had a couple of requests and they handled everything very well. We worked with the MN CEE for financing to get the work done and the entire process from start to finish was quite smooth.The only issue that occurred for us was with reporting system, which MN Solar helped extensively to troubleshoot (even though it wasn't their system and was a vendor). Ultimately, the vendor had an issue they didn't even know about that they eventually fixed and since we have had no issue with our reporting metrics.5 years later and the system runs great. We've produced over 40 MWh of power for our home and the grid and have been very pleased with the production. The ROI won't be as fast for us as we have some neighboring trees that reduce some of our production in the late summer, but it was still well worth the investment.
We've had our MN Solar-installed system for 5 years now. It's been 100% reliable and we love it! They were super professional all through the design and sales process. I liked that they were a MN-based company, who use their own employees to install the systems. I had a great talk with the lead electrician who met with the city electrical inspector and I, and was glad to hear the city inspector likes the way they install their systems. We are looking at a payback of all our costs in 5 more years, but in the meantime, are using clean energy every day.
