We needed a new roof and a friend recommended Semper Solaris. Phil came to our home and did a thorough inspection, and we decided to move forward. He was very helpful and patient through the initial phases of the project. We had some leaking, so the team graciously installed a secure tarp on both our roof and chimney while we waited for the repairs. The team at Semper communicated clearly throughout the process of removing our solar and replacing the underlayment on our roof. They handled the permits for us as well. Christian and his team worked very hard and sent daily photo updates which was much appreciated. They also cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each workday. Now we are just waiting for the solar reinstall. We are thankful for a job well done!

My overall experience with Semper Solaris has been exceptional. Recently I had some questions regarding my systems performance and reached out for support. I spoke with Angie who was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable on how my system works. This is critical as I needed to have a better understanding of how my system functions overall.
On a side note, Angie was very friendly and pleasant to talk to, which made it easy for me to ask the questions I needed to ask. She even went out of her way and educated me on matters I didn't think to inquire about. I'm very grateful she was my point person when I needed answers. Thank you Angie. You ROCK!!

I am pleased to provide Semper Solaris a five-star evaluation for the roofing and solar project completed at my house (Bay Area). The teams from both the roofing and solar exhibited professionalism and expertise throughout the entire process.

The teams arrived on time as scheduled and completed the work efficiently and effectively. They ensured that the work area was cleaned up after completion, leaving my property in pristine condition i.e. no nails on the floor/asphalt/driveway.

Moreover, the communication and transparency regarding the contract details were outstanding. I never felt I was being misled during negotiations. One thing I want to stress to future clients, do your homework, learn the language, the process will be much more fun and less stressful.

I also can’t stress enough that doing a little bit of homework like understanding different brands like Enphase, Franklin, Tesla, and/or SolarEdge to name a few can help in understanding what platform is best for your needs prior to the sales rep coming.

I knew my house needed a roof and I wanted energy independency as well so going solar was a no brainer. Having a single company do both jobs avoids potential finger pointing when issues arise so Semper Solaris was clear choice.

Knowing the materials/components they work with is important to understand the fundamentals of the process i.e. microinverter vs. string vs. power optimizers. I did feel at times the vendor (Dimitri Salido) had to hold my hand and walk me through a lot of my questions. When I would text him or left a voicemail, he got back to me quickly even on weekends.

Other times I would contact corporate and the person I had most contact with was Heidi Canseco. She was super awesome, always had the patience and desire to answer my concerns. Made navigation of these two big ticket items run smooth and can always rely on her diligence to get things done.

I can’t stress enough that if you do decide to go with Semper Solaris for roofing and/or solar to request Heidi. Not to say others were not helpful but she was my point of contact who I would lean on.

I recommend asking for whatever project you decide to go with to request it in an itemized format which includes the break down of each component and government subsides before and after taxes, labor. That way you and your family know exactly how much money is coming out of your pocket. (thank you Dimitri)

Both teams maintained open lines of communication, addressing any questions or concerns promptly and professionally. They were diligent in explaining the project scope, timeline, and any potential issues that arose.

Overall, the roofing and solar projects were executed with the highest level of professionalism, and I am extremely satisfied with the results. I highly recommend both teams for their exceptional work and dedication to customer service.
