I have a Solar Edge system installed two years ago by Accelerate Solar in Myrtle Beach. The inverter (12 year warranty) failed and had to be replaced. Accelerate Solar is out of business(??), so I contacted Titan Solar (who apparently has taken over what is left of Accelerate). They were less than helpful, so I contacted Ken at East Coast. He was on site the next day and contacted Solar Edge for a replacement inverter (no charge for the equipment). New inverter arrived on Monday afternoon and Ken installed it and had me back up and running Wednesday. If you have any problems with your solar system in Myrtle Beach, I suggest you call East Coast Solar.
We are located in Atlanta Ga. Ken actually made the long commute from Carolina at a very decent price to install over 26 panels. Prompt, Fair, and knowledgeable about his craft. In addition we needed to arrange calls after the job was done and Ken was gracious enough to carve out time and help us through post concerns we had. We met with the salesman the middle of September 2017, competed application for the 18 month zero interest, signed contract Oct 14, 2017 to install 43 panels. They took money from Green Sky account right after we were approved (Sept 22nd) and before we signed the contract. We thought it was part of the loan approval procedure and that the actual 18 months would begin after installation. Then they would not speak to us or green sky. It clearly states in the contract their services would be paid AFTER the installation and acceptance of the work. They also didn’t clarify that Santee Cooper doesn’t allow solar energy generated to be carried to the next day. Never knew to use it or loose it for almost a year when a different employee came out due to electrical issues with a too small of a breaker. Our system is also not generating what was promised.
These professional and polite men replaced a roof for me following the flood just to help us out in a crunch. The area was hard to get to at the time and Ken drove through standing water to get the inspection done so the supplies could get ordered ASAP! They gave us a better quote than another company did and I wasn’t even getting solar panels! We just needed the help and this crew knocked it out quickly. Nice strong guys who did a nice job!!
Wow this group of professional was amazing from the boss Ken to Patrick's group of installers to the electrician made sure everything even to the last detail was taken care of went out of there way to make everything awesome I cannot say enough if you want some top shelf people to do your system then these are the guys they spent 2 extra Saturdays doing extra we had a small issue I told Patrick he checked it out talked with Ken settled the following day they went above beyond usually any project on house is stressful but I can say no stress we live in little River and are thankful we had this company do our solar system, water heater, thermostats . So if you are looking for a great group call Ken he will take care of you.
