Astrawatt Solar of Nashville has done an amazing job with our "legacy" Enphase residential solar array!We experienced hail damage to our roof on May 20th, which required removal of our solar array that had been installed by a company that is no longer in business. Upon searching the Internet for a company near to Murfreesboro, TN, that could service an Enphase system, there were a few listed that were closer, but they were not available for months!I looked further to Nashville & reached out to Astrawatt Solar via email regarding our need for removal & reattachment, and I was not expecting a response for several days. I was contacted back within 20 minutes of my inquiry by Havesh Jhaveri. He immediately began dealing with our system on-line, provided an estimate within a few hours, based on our needs & updated it once additional issue came up, so I could provide it quickly to our insurance company. Jhaveri went above & beyond in his attempts to deal with our roofing company, who claimed that they would coordinate things with our Solar company but refused to talk with them. Jhaveri kept me updated throughout this process and was very accommodating when I finally got a date from the roofing company, and immediately sent out his team to remove the panels.Jeins Barreto from Astrawatt was in charge of the removal, troubleshooting & reattachment of our array. He was professional and courteous and kept me informed via text, email, and in-person regarding each aspect of the project. The additional crew needed was also courteous and respectful of us & our property.Astrawatt dealt with warranty issues and dealt with Enphase directly to get parts replaced. The removal of the panels from our extremely steep roof was done on excruciatingly hot days, and they worked for about 10 hours. The rails were left in place for the roofers to remove, as Barreto explained that if there was rain, it would go through those holes causing leaking issues. Once the roof was replaced, Astrawatt brought the system up to codes, including putting lighter rails on the house, which was good due to less weight on the structure, and adjusted the array so that panels were no longer protruding over the back side of the roof apex. Barreto monitored the system for a week to make sure the array was working properly & then installed critter netting to keep the wiring under the panels safe.We have been very pleased with the whole experience with Astrawatt & would recommend them highly for your solar needs!
These guys were very responsive, super professional- answering any questions in a timely manner. It was great that they navigated all the messy approvals for installation of our 16-panel system, even with our HOA! Highly recommend. The panels are producing like champs and even though it’s winter with less sunlight, looks like they cut our grid dependence in half. The system and app are still new to us but we can’t wait to see how the rest of the year goes.
I needed solar panels removed and reinstalled to replace the shingles on our roof. Haresh contacted me to work out timing and make sure he understood what we needed done. He always responded when I had questions or updates on the date for our shingle replacement. The crew arrived when he said they would, completed the removal and reinstallation in one day each and did it right. Our solar system was back up to normal when they left, other than an error message from one of the inverters that corrected itself the next day.
The Astrawat electricions worked professionally and delivered quality service. Haresh and Xavier managed the survey, permitting and installation milestones timely and attentively. On top of that John/AJ and their St. Louis crew members are pros installing the enphase system. The roofing team worked tirelessly to bring the panels online. The engineer made a great split array design with upper/lower roofs. The bread and butter came together and it was a best choice on the market for what I heard from around here.
Astrawatt Solar was the only company I called in Nashville where I could speak with someone in their office not a call center.They made me feel like they wanted my business and service was very responsive and processional.I needed a bid on a tight time frame due to a home closing and XAVIER saved the day!! Very knowledgeable and experienced sales rep with a career in the Solar space.He came out on a Saturday and drove over an hour to get to the home. He spent 2 -3 hours doing a thorough inspection and answering all my questions. He was friendly and funny, laid back but operated like a professional.He followed up with me quickly with a thorough layout and quote when we said he would. Even when I couldn't answer and was busy he didn't forget to call me. VERY impressive Consultant.Ask for XAVIER DE LA CRUZ!! You won't be disappointed.They earned my business for sure!
