We bought a Tesla Powerwall from Solar Rising when they installed our solar panels. It worked seamlessly in our big northeast storm. I'm a narrative kind of guy, so this is the story of our solar array experience. I'd been studying solar for over a decade, and I was waiting for panels to become efficient enough to generate enough power for my entire house with a rooftop array. By the time these panels were available, one of my bosses had gotten his own solar panels. He hired a company that subbed out the actual work to Solar Rising, and he loved the workmanship so I hired them directly.My wife and I are a dangerous couple. I'm a science/tech guy with a background in construction safety and she's a finance person, so when someone pitches us, she asks the tech question and I watch for dodgy answers, and the reverse for finance. Neal came in and we found an honest guy talking straight, and we signed the contract within a week. What Neal has not known until now is we let a cold-caller pitch their system 2 days before we signed. They quoted us $1000 more for budget rated panels, compared to the highly rated panels we got from Solar Rising! So better price for better products.Solar Rising did all the paperwork, the permiting, signing us us for SRECs, the works; No hassle for us. Their work was top notch. TMLP, our power company, is notorious for trying to find any excuse to fail a project, worked well with Solar Rising to make certain the project exceeded code. Our array has been up since 2018 and has been trouble free since then. They answered all our stupid newbie questions with patience, and showed us how to use the apps.We recommended Solar Rising to our next door neighbors and they put in their array a month later.
