Great expirience, everyone through the process was awesome. Very reasonable prices and plans that will be saving me money from Day 1.

Mike Z made everything very simple, presented plans, options, answered all my questions, worked with my suggestions. Very responsive to any concerns that arose.

The install team: liam, Cedric, Jeremy, and dave. Top notch and professional. Work for the company, not some subcontractors that dont care.

Inspections, permits, even an issue with Eversource, all handled by ISP.

Would definitely recommend.

Everything from getting approved to the installation went so smoothly!

My sales rep Mark even showed up to my house while the installation started and that added to the experience of feeling valued as a customer.

I had the Red Crew for installation and they were helpful and answered all the questions i had without issue. And the work they did looks great!

10/10 would recommend ISP any day!

The whole process was great. The kids that initially sold us on the idea of this company were respectful & friendly. Working with Chris P. throughout the rest of the process was great as well, he was & is still very involved with us as clients. Red Crew was great with installation, they were kind, fast & had a good sense of humor to them.
Id recommend ISP before anyone else!

I recently had a system installed by iSP and would recommend them. I worked with Mike Guadino and found him knowledgeable, forthright, and responsive.

My house isn’t ideal for solar; it’s south-facing but has significant tree coverage in the southwest corner. That said, I calculated a 10-year payback period after the tax credit, assuming flat electricity costs (which is conservative). Given a 25-30 year lifespan, it should make financial sense, especially since it protects me from future electricity price increases.

iSP’s computer program estimates system production based on location, shading, and other factors. Their numbers were similar to other companies I received quotes from.

I got quotes from five solar companies and highly recommend getting as many quotes as you have time for. There’s a wide range in pricing (think in terms of price per kilowatt-hour production) and equipment, and I found all companies willing to negotiate.

I ultimately chose iSP due to their pricing (I purchased outright without financing) and equipment quality. I particularly value having micro inverters rather than a string inverter, since I can monitor each panel’s production directly through the app.

With Connecticut’s electricity prices continuing to rise and public benefit charges built into the price per kWh, I believe this was a sound investment. However, with the federal tax credit expiring, I’m uncertain how the economics will look for solar installations next year.????????????????

Amazing from the first call with sales (Armando Torres) thru the install (go Red Team….Jon, Jason, Jose, Jaelyn, and Mark). I could not be happier with my choice of ISP. Perhaps there was a last dollar left on the table but the professionalism from everyone all along the way is top notch. Can’t wait for my town inspector and then Eversource to throw the switch!

VERY happy after day 1 live with my ISP solar system, on a nice fall New England day in late October. Posted picture of the days solar production and my consumption, thrilled at the early returns.

Frequently Asked Questions

Homes with limited shading and adequate roof space typically see the best results. South, west, or east roof orientations can work, and a site visit or remote assessment will clarify expected production. Even partially shaded homes may be viable depending on layout. iSP can review roof condition and utility usage to size a system appropriately.

Yes. iSP coordinates local permitting, schedules inspections, and manages utility interconnection steps. Homeowners are updated on timelines and any municipal requirements. The goal is a clear path from contract to system activation.

Systems can be designed battery-ready so storage can be added later. Availability and compatibility depend on the chosen inverter platform. iSP can discuss current storage options and incentives. They also review how batteries support backup and time-of-use strategies where applicable.

The on-roof installation is often completed in one to two days for standard homes. Overall timelines are longer due to permitting, inspections, and utility approvals. iSP provides updates for each step so homeowners know what to expect. Scheduling may vary by town and season.

After installation, iSP assists with monitoring setup and interconnection. The team remains available for questions about production and utility billing. If issues arise, support coordinates troubleshooting and service visits as needed. Communication continues until the system is online and performing as expected.
