Reviews

What customers say

Customers praise the quality of the work and service, with one long-time client reporting more than 50 projects over 17 years. One customer says the team resolved a noise issue on a Saturday, while another describes a smooth, tidy battery upgrade. Follow-through concerns also come up: one customer was still waiting two months for solar tax-credit paperwork, and another says a missing city permit left the installation unconnected into its third month, with electricity charges continuing.

I have been very pleased with Solar Alternatives in Nola. They are responsive and provide quality service. For example, they recently resolved a constant noise issue that was apparently caused by a brief outage and blown breaker on a SATURDAY afternoon. It would have been miserable to wait until Monday —-for my neighbors and me. Thank you Antony and Solar Alternatives for your prompt assistance! I truly appreciate your dedication! Jan

We upgraded from Tesla Powerwall 2 to Tesla Powerwall 3 with Solar Alternatives and the experience was excellent. Brady and Anthony were professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with from start to finish. The install was smooth, efficient, and everything was left clean and organized. Highly recommend them if you’re considering a battery upgrade!

My solar panels are fine I’m happy with that. My problem is getting the paperwork to claim my solar credit for 2024 and 2025 taxes I have called and talked to 3 different people about this issue. But so far I haven’t received anything 2 months later. I paid for my panels myself no financing Solar Aternative didn’t have to wait for money. I don’t understand why it’s so difficult to get the paperwork I need with all the technology we have.

I've used Solar Alternatives for 50+ solar and battery storage projects over the past 17 years. They've consistently provided high quality engineering, installation, and maintenance services on all of my commercial, industrial, and residential projects. How do I add a 6th star to this rating?!

Installation was quick and seamless, but following through with Entergy was not! After two months of waiting for Entergy to approve our installation and get us connected, we found out that a required City Permit had not been issued. When I wrote both to the city and to Solar Alternatives, lo and behold the city came out and issued the permit on that very day. Now we're still paying Entergy $250 electricity charges every month while we wait -- well into our 3rd month after installation -- to get connected. Solar Alternatives dropped the ball here :-(
