In fact they wouldn't which I really liked since that means your getting the same deal as other customers. The installation went well and the team was super friendly. Highly recommend.
We went with GC because they offered the best deal with the latest battery at an upfront price and never tried to increase it later by claiming the original price was incorrect, unlike other solar companies. After an exhaustive search through Energysage and other reviews I decided to use GC Electric Solar. From the beginning of the engineering phase all the way through the completion both Seph and Francis kept me up to date and met all their stated goals. They had one of the most competitive prices and the material they used was top quality. You could easily see they have been in the business a long time and are very experienced. Talking to their installation crew also showed loyalty to the owners of the company which reflects very positively on the company. The majority of their installation crew had been working for them for many years and they were not sub-contractors.
I helped my elderly father work with GC Electric to install solar at his house.We got several quotes from EnergySage and GCE was quite reasonable (though not the cheapest), they had very good ratings, and communication was good so went with them.All installers were backlogged but Sepehr at GCE said they could probably get the system approved before the NEM 2.0 April 2023 deadline though actual installation would be way out in 2024.The install was a few weeks ago and got PTO last week. We got in NEM 2.0, the work went smoothly and the install was clean. The system is working well, the 12 Panasonic panels and Enphase IQ8+'s are hitting max ratings on sunny days (in March!), and Enphase's per panel/inverter monitoring is great.Everything went as planned and we're very happy with the system.
