Ion solar made the whole converting to solar easy. From the initial sales call from Jessie and to the actual sit down with Elijah was very informative and all our questions were answered. The installation team was neat and organized and done in a single day. The after installation support kept us informed on inspection process from beginning to final. The whole process was very thorough. Highly recommend
I have had Ion for a year now. The installation process went well and was seamless. No glaring issues and they were initially quick to respond when I had small ones. Once the sales guy gets you installed though, they pretty much disappear and are no support.The biggest issue I had is with lying about referrals. I ended up referring another neighbor who only went with Ion because we recommended them. They installed a pretty large system and the neighbor next to them ended up going up with Ion as well. When I called and inquired about the referral fee they kept promoting ($1,000), the corporate number blew me off and the sales guy, Kiel, who I referred them to would not even respond to my text.I still have a small electric bill in the summer, but other than that product seems to work well. Customer service and referral program could improve.***Update: since this review Ion immediately reached out and after providing some proof regarding the referral of my neighbor they fixed the referral program complaint. They were very attentive and quickly responded to fix the issue. ????
Awesome company.John and Jonathan were my sales person and technician. They were super helpful and show me the whole system and answered all my questions.Alex and Adrian and the crew that installed the system were professional and quick (under 4hrs) and it looks great.The system will save me a ton of money, and I do have to worry about how much my bill will be up to in the summer!!
Although I am enjoying the savings from my solar purchase, I am not satisfied with the service of this company after the install. I purchased the pigeon guard system and to my surprise I recently found out after a few years that the whole front section of these panels never had the pigeon guard installed resulting in an oasis for the neighborhood flying rats. I’ve contacted Ion who basically blew me off stating warranty has expired. How is warranty expired on a system that was never fully installed. Very dishonest company. Buyers beware, they were very fast to take my money but provided zero accountability resolving their mistake.UPDATE: I was contacted after my review and Ion Solar made attempts to rectify this issue. After going back and forth they gave me an allowance to have the missing critter guard installed and the existing critter guard corrected as it should have been in the first place. They also gave an allowance to have the panels washed/cleaned to which I used Solar H was Extremely thorough. This has now been rectified and do appreciate Ion working with me on this. It shouldn’t have taken a bad review AFTER I called in and them denying any fault, but they ended up making it right. My panels still continue to produce efficiently. 1 star to 4 star. Thank you Ion for making this right.

The sales process was transparent and informative, and Jonathan helped me tailor a solar system perfectly suited to my home's needs.The installation was seamless and efficient, and the quality of the solar products is top-notch. The 30-year warranty provides incredible peace of mind. I'm just about to go live with the solar system. The goal is be net zero with NV Energy and to benefit from significant savings on my energy bills. I feel great about my investment and even greater about doing my part to reduce my carbon footprint.I wholeheartedly recommend Ion Solar to anyone considering solar energy.
