Asma Zaidi on Ra Power Solar

Edmond is very professional, knowledgeable and experienced. He has done several projects at my house. He took time to explain the details of the project and answer every single question I had, which as a home owner is very important to me. In addition to his professional expertise, Edmond is very kind, well mannered, and knowledgeable about the world. A great human being!!

Denton on Ra Power Solar

Ed did a nice job on our project, which was a 12.61 kw / 26 panel system, plus two, 10-kw Enphase backup batteries. This was a rural project and involved a lot of reworking of some old legacy electrical systems and integration with an old legacy generator, and Ed did a nice job of explaining things and working through issues as they came up.

Communication was great from beginning to end and prices were good. The quote we received was detailed and there was no pressure throughout.

The system has been running well for a few months now and I appreciate being able to contact Ed if I have any questions. This was the second time I worked with Ed on a project and both were good experiences.

Cassie Donahey on Ra Power Solar

Edmond with Ra Power did an amazing job with our solar panels. He communicates with you each step of the process and is very open to answer any questions you have along the way. The one thing that made Ra Power stand out among others was, not only did Edmond want to install and position the solar panels in a manner that would bring in the most solar energy, but he arranged them so they would be aesthetically pleasing in relation to our roof line (which I know takes extra time and skill). We were also impressed with his ability to work on a roof for hours when the weather was in the teens! We highly recommend Ra Power if you are considering solar panels.

Richard Wilhite on Ra Power Solar

Edmond with Ra Power did a fantastic job on our rooftop solar install. When I first started getting quotes from different solar companies, Edmond was always more responsive than any of the other companies I reached out to. He explained everything very well, and answered all our questions. He handled all the permitting, and coordinated the inspections at the end. During the install he worked quickly and efficiently. Always cleaning up things after he was done for the day. We couldn't be happier with our choice of Ra Power for our solar system.

Dallas Shepherd on Ra Power Solar

When I started looking for a solar system I reached out to Ra Power Solar and two other companies in the Lawrence area via email. Ra Power was very fast and responsive to get basic information (roof style, Kw usage, solar size) and was very professional. He made sure he had the right house on satellite view and based off what we wanted made a few project proposals for us to review via email. The second company I heard from about a week later and the third I never heard from.

Edmond (the owner) showed up for a in person consultation scheduled by us, 6to review everything on the projects and give us a rundown of what to expect. Me and My wife had a week before Edmond showed up to read up on all the product he was using which was very important to us.

Immediately he made sure we were aware of three things. One, that based on our current annual usage that we could zero out or near zero out (94%) but there would still be a bill from our utility company for transmission fees and other base fees. Two, that even though there is a 26% tax credit, to verify with a tax professional to make sure we would recieve all of it (which for us we are, please do the same and consult a tax professional). Three, that after he was done evergy has to inspect and put in their net meter before my system can even work which could take them up to a month. Being upfront and honest with things that might potentially scare or chase away a customer goes leaps and bounds in today's world. Edmond was not pushy or forceful on a signed contract. I live a little over an hour away from Lawrence so I thought based off that it could be a high pressure sale which it wasn't.

The panels he uses are in the top tier (ranked in the top 3 in 2020 and 2021 I believe). He ran micro invertors for all panels to make the system more reliable and to stop shading from happening when you have a string invertor. The combiner is impressive with wifi ability for monitoring. I look at it every day on my app!

The install can only be described as perfect craftsmanship. Edmond was the installation crew! No kinks in the conduit. All bent full sticks with no stub 90°. Clean weather tight box that runs through the roof, soffit, and into the combiner. Conduit straps all facing the same direction and everything evenly spaced apart for a beautiful cosmetic appeal. I have a metal roof and the mounting hardware is sturdy and the fastening system is strong and seals as it goes through my roof (neoprene gasket with sealant on the threads). It toke him 5 days start to finish and on his 5th it had rained so I was pleasantly surprised to see he had shown up and finished! It was easy to tell he has a high standard to his company name.

No job ever goes without hiccups. The fused disconnect showed up damaged in box (scuffed, scratched, just cosmetic stuff). Edmond Immediately showed me and informed me he had a new one on the way and apologized for not checking the box before he brought it here. The new one was here the very next day. Our wifi was not strong enough to get outside to the combiner. Edmond installed a wifi booster at no extra cost (that wasn't even on him that was fault on my end). I think his response was he was making sure I had a working turn key system as agreed. Never once said anything of what it costed just installed it without changing the bid.

Well I hit the evergy jackpot and my meter was installed three days later. It's been running now for two weeks and its impressive how much it has produced! I would not recommend anyone but Ra Power to do this level of work. The other company tried saying that there more expensive panels were better because of how strong the cell itself (inside the glass) was showing how if there was massive hail that broke the glass the cells would still be intact (which means nothing if water gets in and shorts out the cells). This was some of the explanations of why they were almost twice as high as Ra Power. I don't need to pay for a sturdier cell if the glass still breaks the same. I needed quality product from a quality company, Ra Power.
