David Bright on CapStone Solar

Outstanding professional service!!! Purchasing a solar solution is a significant investment to say the least. I stepped into the solar market as a rookie with little technical background, and my primary goal to obtain a solar system before the removal of the tax credit in 2026. I began my research with local solar companies and came across Capstone. Upon reaching out for a quote, I was immediately contacted by Jeff, Lacey Operations Manager. He was professional, friendly and thorough in answering my rookie questions and providing me with the foundational background on solar I needed in order to make an informed decision. Jeff displayed zero pressure to initiate an order through this initial consult conversation, allowing the solution to do the talking. Once committed, Jeff helped me through the info gathering process including making sense of the mess of information I sent on my past year's power consumption. He guided me through the steps to clarify the info, and had a quote over to me literally the same day. He quickly responded to any additional technical questions I had about the quote, and worked with me closely to tailor a solution right for my house. (I decided to go for the panel installation without a battery backup. I'm deferring a battery for another couple of years). Within 15 days of committing to the purchase, Capstone submitted the request to the power company to start the permit process. As soon as the permit went through (roughly 30 days), the Capstone team arrived to install the array. Tyler, Bill, Blaze and Jeff were all on site at my house for 3 days installing the array and a SPAN smart panel. Their professionalism was unmatched! Through the entire process they communicated to me what was going on, working through the cold and rain to complete a complex installation (49 panels) smoothly and efficiently. Bill installed the electrical conduits in a non-invasive manner, being mindful of the view to the outside of the house. The team also helped me run an Ethernet cable to the SPAN panel to ensure there was connectivity. (no way I could have fished that cable through the wall myself). Tyler stuck with me on the last day when the power company took 5 hours to reinstall the meter, and he expertly worked through some technical snags once the power was restored to get the SPAN panel online. The team left the site clean and tidy, leaving no trace they were even here minus the array on the roof. :) The Project Manager communicated with me through the entire process, including helping to get the state inspection lined up post install. Today the power company gave the final blessing, and the array is producing 1.6kW on a cloudy Washington day! I could not be more impressed and satisfied with Capstone for their partnership. As I stated at the beginning a solar purchase is nothing to take lightly. Jeff and team ensured it was as smooth as possible and provided outstanding customer service. They are good at what they do - and it shows. Thank you!

Amazing service. Our solar installation and servicing company filed for bankruptcy and our solar wasn’t working. One call to Jeff and he came over, determined we had some blown fuses, and was able to quickly resolve our problem. Highly recommend and will use for all future projects.

CapStone was professional and high quality from project assessment to final install. Communication was frequent and accurate - and all the permit and utility coordination was a breeze. CapStone even made final design adjustments the day of installation to maximize the value potential achieved by solar. Great oversight and great team - from a very happy customer.

Such an amazing company from design to final install everything came out perfect. Karin the project manager kept us up-to-date with all the permitting and schedule an install as soon as our permits were approved James Tyler and blaze did an amazing job installing the panels. I have a specialty roof, so it took some, but it came out perfect. we just had a baby and James brought us a care package all the baby essentials. Looking forward to more business in the future!
