Reviews are mixed. Positive comments cite clear proposals, helpful sales guidance, and projects completed with utility approval. Prospective customers may want to verify timelines, lien releases, and service response commitments in writing.

Avoid This Company at All Costs!
A frustrating and disappointing experience! In short, this company was hired to install solar roof panels on my home, but due to their financial negligence and lack of professionalism, I now find myself facing a legal dispute with the material supplier, even though I paid Solar 360 in full.

The installation itself was done relatively poorly, with installation not passing inspection due to "sloppy" work per the city permit inspector (attached photos with exposed nails due to panels not being screwed into the rafters). The company had to come back out to reinstall the panels and patch all the nail holes they made in our roof to pass inspection.

A few months after the installation I was summoned in front of my four children while playing outside. Solar 360 never paid the supplier so they were taking legal action against me despite me paying Solar 360 in full already. I continued to receive phone calls and letters from the supplier's legal team claiming I owed them money for the materials used in my solar panel installation. This was shocking, as I had already paid Solar 360 in full for the entire project, including the materials. To make matters worse, the supplier was not only taking legal action, but placing a lien on my property, despite the fact that I had already paid the company who was responsible for settling the bills.

What frustrates me the most is the complete lack of accountability. Solar 360 took my money, installed the panels, and then left me to deal with the consequences of their mistakes. They didn’t communicate with me honestly, and they didn’t take responsibility when things went wrong. Instead, they left me to clean up their mess, both legally and financially.

I cannot stress enough how deeply disappointed and frustrated I am with Solar 360. I have no trust in this company, and I cannot recommend them to anyone. The entire experience has been a nightmare, and I have lost both time and money because of their failure to fulfill their financial obligations to the supplier. I hope this review helps prevent someone else from going through the same nightmare I did.

Eric Tsang on Solar 360

Our electricity bill was getting ridiculously high in last summer. We figured it was not too late to get solar despite we missed the NEM 2.0 deadline from SCE. We were referred and recommended by our family member who had Solar-360 installed their solar system before. We contacted Charlie Kim who gave us a detailed quotation. We also obtained two other quotes from companies that were referred by our neighbors; but we eventually picked Solar-360 due to their competitive price and Charlie's professionalism. He never hard sells and upsells to his clients. He listens and understands exactly what we need and built the spec from there. Other people just kept bombarding us with calls and emails.

Charlie was able to address all our concerns and warranty questions before we went ahead and signed a contract. It took a while for the city and HOA to approve the installation.

Installation went well - Solar-360 completed it in 2 days. They even repaired/replaced few roof tiles for us as a courtesy service. Final city inspection approval and SCE permission to operate also went smoothly afterwards. The system is working very well, and it exceeds my expectation.

Charlie even assisted us to apply for the SGIP rebate based on our backup battery purchase; that's an A+ service!

In summary, I highly recommend Solar-360 for any solar system and backup battery installation. Thank you Charlie for a solid 5* experience!

Just some back information, we were planning on going solar awhile back and started the process with another Solar company but were very disappointed and cancelled their service. I was talking to my sister who went solar the year before and she recommended her company to me. So, when the appointment time came, we met with our sales consultant Sherry Farrell from Solar 360. She was so straight forward and informative and was able to answer all our questions and concerns. We were paying cash for our solar system, and we were amazed how affordable it turns out to be. My wife and I would recommend Sherry and Solar 360 to all of our friend and family anytime. We know that she will take good care of them and so will the Solar 360 install crew. It was a pleasure going solar with them. Thank you. Bill and Pat.

Our solar journey was a roller coaster. We signed on with a company that eventually went out of business just as we were to begin our installation. Our sales representative, Sherry Farrell, was as devastated as we were. As we began the process again, we found that Sherry had moved on herself to another company. So we began again with Solar 360 and Sherry. Sherry and Solar 360 got us through the process as quickly as possible. Sherry’s integrity is beyond reproach and service level is superior. Our system is up and running and we are delighted. We would very much recommend Sherry Farrell and Solar 360 for your solar needs.

Overall experience was pretty bad. It started good until after the install. My roof was leaking in 6 spots where they drilled my roof. I had to go in the attic to take pictures for them several times. The good thing was that they installed new paper on the section of the roof where the solar was installed. After the roof was done they never showed up on the day they told me they were going to install the solar back on. They didn't come back until 24 days later when I send a couple emails regarding the install and all the trash that was left from the roof work. They finished the install and only took partial of the trash leaving all the wood with nails sticking out on the walk way. Hopefully the leaks are gone. Last email I got from them was 12/20/19. No one has reached out since then to follow up.

Update: Now I wish I could just leave no stars. All the old felt paper from the roof and some of the new rolls were left leaning of my wooden fence for a month. From 12/17 to 1/16. The wooden fence at one point gave out and was leaning towards my neighbors side. They were the ones that brought it up. I contacted solar 360 about it and after they came to take a look they refused to fix it because they said the fence already had dry rot and that they are not going to take responsibility. Pretty much they told me it was the fence condition that cause it to give not the all the heavy rolls leaning against for a month. To me that just sounded like another excuse in order not to fix what they damaged. I ended up paying for the repairs out of my pocket. I added pics of all the stuff that was leaning on it.
