Great company, great service. I had an issue and they sent Jorge R. to come out and trouble shoot. He clearly communicated on timing, repair, & gave solid advice on cleaning panels. Solar power is a good chunk of $$ and Option1 Solar is a great value! They stand behind product and installation.
We are so happy we decided to go with Option One Solar. Gregg, the Palm Springs Regional Manager is so professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He patiently explained all our options and fortunately for us, corrected some misinformation (tax credits) provided to us by other companies.We did receive other bids but when comparing apples to apples (panel options, warranties, service, etc) we realized that Option One Solar was the way to go.This is a family run, honest and ethical business who cares about it's customers and it's reputation, we highly recommend them!
When it came to getting solar, I was always so skeptical. You hear of all the bad installations there are and you tend to be turned off. However, it came to the point where my edison bills were just too high that I had to find a way to lower my costs. After doing my due diligence and receiving various quotes with local companies. I decided to go with Option One. My rep, Jose, held our hand through the process and and really educated us about solar and it’s benefits. I never felt pressured and was shown a great deal of transparency and honesty. Once I agreed on the system, everything thereafter was a breeze. I was installed within six weeks and the the installation crew were also very knowledgeable and did an amazing job.I would definitely recommend them if you’re thinking about going solar.
When we decided to research Solar options, only one company provided us with the comfort and reassurance that we were making the right decision...Option One Solar. Gregg took the time to drive 2 hours to our home to walk us completely thru the process, options, pricing, and estimated timeframe. We were skeptical and concerned and had countless questions that Gregg patiently and meticulously answered and explained thoroughly. Gregg certainly educated us on solar, the specific individual systems that would meet our needs, benefits, and pros/cons. We never felt pressured, we studied the information he provided and made the decision that Solar was right for our home. He provided us with a history of the company, and upon our own research it convinced us we wanted to establish and commit to a long-term relationship with Gregg and Option One. Living in the desert, you'll be guaranteed to have high energy bills because our AC's are on 24/7. It came to the point where the rates were just too high that I had to do something about it. I was always skeptical about solar due to all stigma associated with it. However, I decided to do my due diligence and began to talk to multiple companies in order to get educated as well as see if I could reduce my bills in process. So I started contacting several companies in the desert, some good and some not so good. Many of the quotes that I received were just too expensive. Until I saw one of my neighbor's getting installed by OptionOne. She recommended them to me and told me that they installed her system in 6 weeks time...which is great because some quotes I received were giving me install times of 3 to 4 months! Decided to give them a call and I do not regret a thing! They were really professional and educated me along the way about all my options. I loved the fact that they were not "pushy salesmen" and were really there to provide me with all the information I needed to make the right choice. They were even far more affordable than the other quotes I received. It has been 7 months since I have been installed and I am already seeing immediate savings. They truly underpromised and overdelivered!
