Overall we are pleased with the installation and operation of our Tesla system, which has 15 solar panels and one 3rd generation battery. The installation especially was very professional and competent. Our one complaint is during the planning period: first, it was sometimes difficult to talk to a representative and second, they provided advice that left us under powered. We should have installed a few more panels and definitely a second battery.
It was a very straightforward process. I felt like I was informed, in control, and understood my contract. I love owning them, and my monthly power bill is basically zero, even in the winter.
The whole experience from start to stop was excellent. My only issue was with communication with my project advisor. However, I should have expected that as I have a Tesla vehicle. Everything is done by email. You will never be able to contact someone directly by phone. Just expect that and learn to live with it. Other than communication the rest of the experience was top notch. The person who did the site assessment was excellent. The installers were extremely professional. The system seams to be sized perfectly. The app is great especially if you have a Tesla vehicle as it will interface your car to the app and charge your car after the batteries are full.
Good luck getting ahold of anyone on the phone. 1 number for multiple locations 2 attempts on hold for 8 minutes each and no one has time to answer the phone? I think it’s time to hire a few more people! Pretty discouraging for a current customer that’s considering expanding.
