My husband and I purchased a home a little more than 3 yrs. ago that had solar panels on it. After lots of research, we found out that they had never been activated. Over the next 2.5 yrs. we contacted countless companies and people trying to get them turned on. Thankfully we found Solarize Philly who connected us with Exact Solar. They were the only company to work past the lack of paperwork we were provided by the previous owner and get our panels active. To top it all off, they THANKED US for using their services and sent us a little sweet treat. I would recommend them to anyone who asked and am so thankful that they helped us when no one else would.
Overall, these guys did a great job on our solar install in 2nd half of 2025. I've installed solar in the past at other homes, so I've worked with other installers before. The folks at Exact seemed to have really solid technical knowledge as well as great tools for planning and designing the system, so we ended up getting a system that looks and works just like we wanted.Overall, Exact was great to work with. The sales person was very responsive. When a few issues came up with the design and with the utility, it was very easy to get input from their engineer to explain and resolve things. The installation crew was awesome and went above and beyond to address our concerns about aesthetics. And while they can't control the response time of the utility or the township, everything ended up getting completed slightly ahead of schedule. We did have a couple of minor misunderstandings about the contracted scope of work. My concerns were handled professionally and I was very satisfied with the resolution. I think those issues probably wouldn't have have happened if they hadn't been so busy due to the expiring tax credit. I would definitely hire Exact again.
Highly recommended and professional Solar installer. They have been around since 2005 which is an important criteria to look at. You want an installer that has been around for years to count on future support! They are competitively priced! Lower than others in the area! They installed my system in September and its been working fantastic! They use top notch gear such as Enphase micro inverters, combiners and Vsun panels. They are quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Through and through I highly recommend them!
My experience with Exact Solar couldn't have been better! All the staff I encountered were professional, personable, enthusiastic, and very efficient! They handled every detail and were always available to answer questions. My installation was more challenging than most, but Exact Solar found the best way to maximize my installation! I signed up in early September of 2025 to take advantage of the Federal Solar rebate hoping the system would be installed before December. The entire process from survey to power on was TEN WEEKS! I continue to be extremely satisfied. My PECO rebate of $500 got to me in six weeks and my SREC enrollement followed three weeks later. The system energy output is just a bit ahead of the estimated projections. Total on site including the survey was five days and the workmanship is very good. 100% satisfied with the whole team that made this happen
