Zach Trudeau on Trinity Solar

I would go lower but can't. I got a new roof and solar panels from Trinity. The solar panels are solar panels. I think they do an okay job. After doing my own research planning and designing. I can easily tell that the salesmen and design time have no clue what they are doing. They just want their commission check. At face value my house would be a good candidate. Until you take in the elevation between my house and neighbors I sit lower. And the line of trees not on my property that sit higher. So while everyone is getting the morning sun. It takes 2 hour after they get it for me to get any. Then in summer by 430-5pm the landscape blocks the sun where as everyone else still gets it. But so be it.

The real issue is the roof. I get told by one of their roofers after my roof leaked in the exact same spot as it did before they did the roof. It was not condensation. That its to much water for that. They installed a ridge vent after I told them multiple times. The house is not designed to have it. There are no soffit vents. None of the insulation is baffled so a ridge vent does nothing. Its suppose to be a hot roof. They ignored it. And then preceded to tell me. That my roof is not built right and they are no longer honoring their warranty. I could of got a roof for half the price. If i went with someone else. And after they tried to fix it and told me that. We are now on the 3rd winter and its leaking again.

If you are looking at trinity. Please double check everything. Watch how the sun rises and sets. What time in the morning you get and when it leaves your roof.

And if your getting a roof from them get like 3 other roofers to go over your options. Not salesmen roofers. Contractors that know what they are doing. I'm very much considering removing of these panels just so I dont have to deal with them again.

Garrett Graham was the best!!! He made everything make sense and answered all my questions. I also got a new roof through Trinity and it looks fantastic. The process was seamless and Garrett was there for every step of it. I couldn’t be more pleased with him and Trinity Solar. I have 27 panels on my home and the way it sits you can barely tell they are there! I am saving a ton of money monthly and they estimated 85% production from solar and I get 100%+. It was nice to get a credit from Duquesne Light because I over produced energy!!! Thank you again to Garrett and Trinity Solar!!

This is a great crew of people to work with. The installation from start to finish was less than two full days. Everyone worked hard and did a great job.
We got a truly amazing deal! Our roofing job was approximately $4000 to $6,000 LESS than other quotes that I had gotten. The quality of the roof is top-notch and is guaranteed along with the solar.
Additionally my electrical service was upgraded from 150 to 200 amp...another savings of approximately $3,000.
My solar panels are estimated to save approximately 54% of my current electrical bill.
Even if I had no savings on my power, I know I'm doing the right thing environmentally and the savings between roofing and electrical was huge.
We are under a PPA - power purchasing agreement. We pay nothing for the system and it is fully insured. I honestly don't think you can get a better deal.

My solar panel consultant Josh was great and answered all of my questions during the early stages of the process. Even though I didn't need sold on going solar, Josh's knowledge of the system and the possibilities of how much my system can make. Once approved, Josh explained that Trinity and their affiliates will handle all permits and make any phone calls to make sure the installation goes smoothly. Got my installation date and all I had to do is wait. First day of installation was intense. A large crew assembled on my property and started right away. The crew leader went over everything they were projected to complete on the first day and everything I should expect moving forward. Overall the installation took 4 days to complete. After the installation, I inspected all the roofs (3) to for any leaks or damage. Happy to say everything was installed properly and no leaks or damage. Definitely recommend Trinity Solar. Thank you to everyone crew member.
