Cascade Solar

The summer of 2025 we contacted multiple solar companies for bids to install solar panels and a backup battery. After meeting with representatives from several companies, we are very happy we decided on Cascade Solar for our project. We are very pleased with the results and highly recommend Cascade Solar. Upon meeting with Tom Crowe it became clear he was competent and knowledgeable and the initial project bid was 10% lower than their competitors. Tom provided a great design that met our requirements and was adept at explaining the terminology and answering all of our questions. Tom provided a complete package that we could send to our home owners association for project approval. During the design, installation and final walk through we were pleased with the expertise, patience, and communications of all individuals involved with the project. Rachel O’Keeffe, our project manager, patiently answered any questions that arose during the purchase of materials and installation. She assisted in scheduling the solar installation crew around the landscaping project we were simultaneously undertaking. Rachel followed up after the installation to assure we were familiar with the solar panel and battery system and associated software. Nicole Nicholls was instrumental in interacting with the Energy Trust of Oregon to assure the project met their requirements for available solar incentives. The installation crew was punctual, courteous, and responsive to our questions and concerns. They carefully coordinated activities with the landscaping crew to assure the safety of all workers on site. They cleaned up thoroughly each day and returned a few months later to install some bollards in the garage required by the Energy Trust of Oregon. Overall, Cascade Solar provided us with an excellent experience. Ted R

We used Cascade Solar as part of a remodel and addition project and had a great experience from start to finish. Tom’s communication, organization, and workmanship were outstanding throughout the process. They carefully removed the existing solar system to allow for construction, then reinstalled and updated the system once the addition was complete. Their team handled everything — providing plans and specifications, coordinating with the project team, and managing the permitting/inspection process — which made the entire installation seamless and stress-free. The system tied back in perfectly and looks and performs great. We can’t say enough about the professionalism and quality of work from Cascade Solar and would confidently recommend them to anyone considering solar for a new build, remodel, or upgrade.

We would absolutely recommend Cascade Solar. We had a great experience with them from the initial contact through the installation. We started with the Energy Trust of Oregon as a source of information, and they provided Cascade Solar as one of the recommended installers. Cascade Solar took the time to explain everything to us (no sales pressure), gave us a clear proposal, and then guided us with excellent communication throughout the entire process. Installation and inspections went smoothly, and they do all of the work themselves. We were so impressed with Cascade Solar that we offered to be a client reference for them.

Cascade did an awesome job on our solar installation - they were very professional and communication was excellent. As an architect, I understand the process and care about the details. Their proposal was clear, pricing was in line with the market, they did great shop drawings, managed the permitting process well, and did a quality installation. I highly recommend Cascade Solar! Rooftop solar is a great way to take action against climate change, and it's a cost effective energy solution!

Over the past three years, I conducted an extensive review and comparison of various solar companies to find the best option for installing a solar system on my property. Ultimately, I chose Cascade Solar due to their competitive pricing and high level of professionalism. Tom, in particular, provided a comprehensive explanation of the entire process, ensuring I clearly understood the system without any pressure to make a purchase. The installation was completed in less than a day, and I commend David for his responsiveness and assistance. During the system walkthrough, Rachel was instrumental in explaining the system's functionality and monitoring procedures. Overall, I am very pleased with my decision to select Cascade Solar, as the experience exceeded my expectations. You'll regret it if you don't talk to Cascade first.
