No one made us feel pressured to hand over the first check.By the end we got a great roof and exactly the right amount of solar. In October 2025, I saw an ad about installing solar panels. I called my company, and they filed for bankruptcy. I called other companies, and they told me that they won't finish by December deadline for tax credits, the weather is not compliant, they only add batteries instead of solar, or they overcharge a lot. Dustin at Five Star Solar made it very clear about the entire process. He reassured me that we will meet the deadlines. He used my past electricity bills to calculate the optimal solar that I need to install so that I will be saving the most money. He gave me a great offer with tons of incentives. I got declined for my loan, so Dustin helped refer me to one that he has connections with which helped me get approved for the loan. Then, he laid out the entire process, and it was very smooth. I was very satisfied with his work, and his team. The job was done well, and I am glad that I chose this company. They know their stuff, and they know how to take care of their customers. I strongly recommend doing business with them.
Very happy with Five Star Solar installation! Very professional and their crew was polite, helpful and respectful of property. The installation took only 2 days from start to finish! We had 25 solar panels and 2 Tesla Batteries installed. Their price quote came in as the lowest from about 8 quotes. Reccomended Dustin and his company to several friends and relatives, my daughter and son in law also had Five Star install their solar system! 5 stars out of 5!
We were preparing and researching for solar for a few years. Our situation required special attention. I received proposals from over a dozen solar companies over three years. When I spoke with Dustin @ Five Star Solar he seemed more genuine and trustworthy than most of the “salespersons” I encountered. The greatest factors in choosing Five Star was their ability to meet my special requirements for financing with a reputable local lender, and arrange for me to receive compensation for my Federal Tax Credits that I am unable to redeem. The installers were very good at communicating and working with me on location of hookups and conduit. Their craftsmanship was excellent. We are thrilled with the outcome. Our system allows us to export to the grid and not import at all during peak months. During the rest of the year we only import from the grid on cloudy days and much of that will be covered by our credits at True Up. Our system including 18 Panels and two Tesla Powerwall 3s was designed and priced just right. I HIGHLY recommend working with Five Star Solar if you want to reduce your dependance on your Electric Utility Company.
Purchase solar and battery back up to my specifications. Had some design differences but my wishes were followed. I'm a home inspector and very meticulous. With all construction there were some bugs to work out and Five Star were quick to work with me to fix and even gave me another panel for free. My system has been flawless ever since.
