Wow. Very disappointed. High pressure sales. I was sold the vision that the solar array would be sized appropriately to cancel all the charges from Rocky Mountain Power (except a $10 connect fee). 2 months in - my bill from Rocky Mountain Power is down about 30% - its like $140 now instead of $180. In addition I now have a $26k loan that has it's own $230/month payment. So the solar system is pretty much doubling what I pay in electric each month - and even when the loan is paid off I'll have very close to the same bill I had initially!When I inquired with their customer service, the response was, "Thank you so much for your patience after reviewing your bills.I do show that there was actually a decrease in your power bills compared to prior years.Do you have any other questions for me?"Yes. I do have other questions. Why was I told the system installed would be sized properly to offset my power charges each month?Huge regrets. Be warned.
Great company to work with. From start to finish they were responsive to any questions and concerns. Throughout the process they reply to emails in a very timely manner. The crews doing the installs were quick and very knowledgeable on the job. 10/10 would recommend.
I had a great experience working with ES Solar from start to finish. Their team was excellent at getting the entire project planned and coordinated — from system design to pulling permits and scheduling each phase of the install. Everything moved smoothly and on schedule, including the roof work, solar installation, and battery integration.They handled all the permitting with no issues and were very knowledgeable about available federal tax incentives, including guidance that extends beyond 2025, which was a big plus and showed they really know their stuff.After the project was completed, a small issue came up, and ES Solar stood behind their work and made it right. Their responsiveness and commitment to customer satisfaction really stood out, and they followed through until everything was resolved properly.Overall, I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. ES Solar provided excellent customer service for the new solar battery. They took care of any permits that the city required and they had the install completed within a day. The energy technician, Lucas, provided a clear explanation of the benefits of the use of the battery (such as having backup power during outages) as well as rebates. The project manager, Luis, was kind and communicated well during the install. He went over where we preferred to have the battery installed, let us know when the power would temporarily be off, and the other installers seemed to be quite professional and confident on what they were doing. They left the area clean and I would recommend them for anyone looking into a solar battery.
