CM Solar Electric just finished installing my 16 panel and battery solar system and did a great job. We are about a week into running the system and so far so good. They were flexible with the arrangement of the panels and battery and were overall great to work with. I would highly recommend them so far based on my experience. Carlos has a good team of installers and electricians to support the work. You can trust them with your solar install.

Overall I'm pleased to have hired Carlos and CM Solar to install my PV Solar system. I did research for several months on the different installers around town and after meeting Carlos I felt comfortable and confident he and his team would do a good job. With all the negative things you hear about other installers, I felt it was necessary to do the deep research on the various companies around town.Carlos was attentive and informative from our 1st meeting. He was quick to respond either by email, text or phone call whenever I had a question. Su and Bobby were also attentive during the administration side of the process. I did NOT experience ANY of the delays or hold ups I've read about others were experiencing with their installs dealing with other companies. The whole process took a matter months from the loan application, plans being submitted with the County, the proper forms being filed with SDGE, to installation and eventually getting the system turned on. I needed a panel upgrade and even that went faster and smoother than expected. There was an issue with panel supply and delivery but that was more of a SunPower issue and not a CM Solar issue. Carlos came up with an acceptable solution to keep the process moving. My process happened mid to late 2022, the tail end of the Covid shutdown and supply shortages and things still seemed to have gone smoother and quicker than expected.I tried to recommend CM Solar to some of my friends and they chose to go with other companies. Their experience was not as smooth nor as quick as my process was with CM Solar. I realize every situation is different.I purposefully wanted to go with SunPower panels based on their reviews and the research I did on the different panel manufacturers. CM Solar is a SunPower authorized installer.I purposefully waited a little over a year to write my review to see how my energy generation and billing would be affected after having the system installed. Once again, I'm please knowing the monthly payment I'm making is going towards the purchase of my panels and not to SDGE. Carlos and his team designed a properly sized system and found me a loan that worked with my budget.I'm pleased I went with CM Solar for my SunPower PV Solar system install.
I shopped around a lot before buying our panels, and Carlos was one of the best I spoke with as far as explaining everything to me and taking a lot of his time to answer my questions. He backed up that experience with a great price for quality work. During our installation, we had an unexpected delay and needed a second inspection. Carlos and his team handled everything and were prompt, friendly, and a full-service shop. They got us all sorted out quickly and with little to no hassle on my end. Carlos is very friendly, professional, informative and honest. He went through the design, cost, and answered all the questions very clear. When I asked for installing the additional backup battery, Carlos recommended in my situation it wasn’t really necessary or cost effective. I appreciate his honesty. In compare with other solar providers, I found the cost from CM Solar Electric (used and back by SunPower) is very reasonable. Carlos is the man of word. After I have signed the contract with CM Solar Electric, the installation process happened very smoothly and exactly as he told me at the beginning. Talking about the installation, the execution team was incredible. The team treated the installation on my house as their own. They do it with care and very professional. Carlos show his caring for the customer. On the installation day, he also stopped by to check the process, and continue to text me if I have any question and concern. The installation team finished on time, they even painted the conduit on the flat roof to match the color. The conduits, monitor controls and shut offs were vey organized outside garage wall. It looks very neat and professional. Bobby also helps to get the city approval for the system after installed. He came early to prepare thing needed and also made sure not to miss the schedule with the city approver. Everything goes smoothly from the beginning to the end. I am so happy that I have chosen CM Solar Electric taking care of my home solar installation.
