Recent reviews highlight clear cost explanations, consistent communication, and projects finishing on the expected schedule. Several customers mention smooth installations and satisfaction with results, including paired EV charger work. An older review reports delays tied to permitting and project management with a partner firm, noting frustration with communication at that time. Overall sentiment trends positive with occasional concerns about timeline management.
I built my home in San Jose with solar in mind from the start. After doing my research, SolarGuru Energy came highly recommended—and now I see why. They were clear on costs, stayed on schedule, and everything went exactly as planned.
At our home in San Jose, we had SolarGuru install an EV charger and solar system. They handled it all without complication. Their communication was steady and reassuring, and we’re really happy with the results.
SolarGuru Energy got everything done on schedule and made the process surprisingly easy. Best of all, we haven’t seen an electric bill since!
It's been more than seven months since we signed documents, and our solar is still not fully hooked up. It's been a frustratingly slow process, but it's not entirely Miguel's fault. He quickly sold our contact to a firm called Powur, which is comically inept at program management. Multiple things went wrong: the plans were measured incorrectly (requiring the installers to try to rearrange panels), the permitting was botched, and the communication was awful. None of this is directly Miguel's fault, but just be warned that you won't really be dealing with him after the initial sales calls.
I could not be happier with my solar panels from SolarGuru Energy! They were one of three quotes for the job and offered a substantially better system with better production. On top of that, the owner, Miguel went above and beyond and was completely on top of every step. Gabriela followed up consistently to ensure I knew exactly what was going on at all time. Their professionalism and true concern for me as a customer did not stop after the deal with follow up calls checking in. I highly recommend them to anyone interested in solar
