I had signed a contract with another solar company that I thought I had sufficiently vetted. Licenses checked out and they had some good reviews. Turns out the marketing company jobs out to various subcontractors and it was the sub that was non responsive. I waited over six months from the time I signed the contract and provided a deposit and all they had to show was a guy coming out to work on a layout plan. Nothing ever submitted for permits. Long story short I had to contact their bond company to get them to respond and give me my deposit back.Peter and Cervus, on the other hand, were prompt, professional, and did everything they said they would, when they said they would do it. Peter was ahead of the game with permits and a pleasure to work with, as were all the installation staff. They were slightly higher in price than the first company but absolutely worth the stress-free job. I would certainly recommend Cervus.
Peter and his team were very professional and patient with all of my questions. I appreciated that they also do roofing so they know how to install without creating leaks. After the first big rain I went up to the attic and was happy to see it bone dry. I also appreciated that going through them directly rather than a name place like Sunrun removed the markup from the middle man so it cost us less than half of what was quoted by all the majors. I highly recommend Cervus Solar.
Peter… everyone at Cervus Solar did a great job on our solar panel installation. We had been looking around for sometime for a company that would work with us on our existing small 12 panel setup we’d had for 10 years. But Peter came in… sat down with us, looked at Edison bill and shot very clearly and straight with us on our choices as well as… worked with us on finding a way for us to qualify for a program for 2 Tesla power walls. Cervus as well as replaced our original electric panel. These are great can do guys that know what they’re doing, ex GI vets. No bs.Yes, we’re very happy we found and went with Cervus Solar.
Worked with Cervus on the solar project for my home. We discussed the power need for my home and built a system based on that. Both me and wifie have long commutes 100+ miles a day and both of us have EVs so solar was a no brainer for us. 15 KWH solar with 30 HWH battery. Its overkill for most people but just right for me. Cervus gave me wonderful advise on how to maximize insentives (while they last), and kept me appraised in the progress the whole way. Very professional, and did a great job installing all the hardware and equipment. Thank you, Cervus Team!!!
