Solartech Window Tinting since 1987!

I don’t believe I’ve ever left a review, but I wanted to give Tony the shoutout he deserves.

Little backstory: I’m from Orange County visiting family in Montgomery County. I wanted to get my windows tinted before we left, but the places I tried had no availability so soon which I completely understood. I have a two month old and the shades I bought do not totally block the sun from her eyes.

I figured I’d try somewhere upstate as the prices would probably be more competitive and hopefully we could have it done before our trek home.

Tony was recommended to me by a local and I found him through a quick Google search. I called him and he was very friendly and accommodating. He said he could do it that day and I could pick it up that evening.

I wasn’t able to get it until the next morning and I expected him to leave it parked on the street, but he safely stored it in his garage until I arrived!

I read the bad reviews and had my doubts. When I arrived I couldn’t reach him by phone. His voicemail said to call another phone that was also not in service. This made me very nervous and afraid that I may have been scammed.

However, it was just a misunderstanding and his phone had simply died. I would recommend updating the voicemail message because it could cause some confusion and even worry for the next customer.

The job looks great so far. Of course it needs time to cure, but I wanted to give my complete honest experience and commend Tony on a job well done.

Don’t let the Schenectady location discourage you and don’t let the bad reviews discourage you either. We never know the whole story.

The job was well done. Any "bubbles" are drops of water that go away over time. They are not air bubbles.

He did an Excellent job on my truck.....I have no complaints. Had windshield, passenger and drivers windows done. Didn't wait 2 ling and had a problem brought it back 2 him and job 2as done with no issues. I definitely recommend his services and have friends that want work done...??% ????????
