So thankful to have found Don and his team at Advanced Solar. We originally purchased our panels a few years back from SunPro Solar who sold to ADT (without informing their install base). The roughly 24months that ADT had our services contract, it took them over 6 months to get a third of our panels back online and producing. We recently had some inverters go out and it was at that time that we were informed that ADT had left the solar market leaving us without anyone to own/cover our services warranty.Thankfully we found Don and Advanced Solar. Don and Samantha were so great to work with and helped us get everything back online and producing. Their techs that came out (Lee and Joseph) were great, answered all my questions and did an excellent job.Cant recommend them enough!
We bought a generator from this company and it had lots of trouble from the get-go. Paid a lot for it! I asked a few times to please get me one that worked. After difficult convos and lots of phone calls, they agreed to fixing it. Unfortunately it was temporary and lasted about a year. Now they won’t come out without a $90 service call. Who knows what will happen next $$$ but maybe another company out there can help?
My panels were installed in 2017 by Advanced Solar and Electric. The inverter went out of service in December 2024. There were some issues with obtaining parts from their supplier and it appears that they no longer have a system that enabled monitoring over the internet through the cell phone system.I have been chasing them for two days but cannot get them to answer the phone or to call me back.They used to be good; I don't know what happened to them.
If you're looking for solar work in San Antonio, look no further than Advanced Solar! I've used them for two residential solar installations, as well as a panel dis-mount and re-mount during a roof replacement, and every interaction with the company has been top notch. I unfortunately contracted one solar job with a different company, who then completely screwed up the install and left me in a bind. Advanced Solar was able to salvage the situation and finish the job with no problems. Seriously, go with Advanced!
Advanced Solar is fantastic. From our first meeting with Don to the final inspection with CPS, the project was seamless. They took care of all the paperwork, permits & inspections. Installation crew was quick, clean and professional. The end result looks great and we really like the phone app and website where we can monitor the entire system. First class all the way with excellent customer service and communication. Don't hesitate to call them for a quote.
