We love our solar panels! After 5 months, they have met or exceeded our expectations! The installation crew was efficient and professional! Heath, our sales representative, was great to work with!
We recently got solar panels installed on our house by PacWest. They have competitive pricing, friendly and informative installers, and so far we’re happy with the performance of our panels. However, communication was lacking. It was great working with Heath when getting pricing and details, but once we pulled the trigger and decided to move forward, it was like pulling teeth to get updates on the process (permit approvals and install date). We had to constantly check in to get any answers, and also had to call to even get an install date nailed down. We got an install date but were never told what time the installers were coming (and I’m glad we were actually home when they showed up since they needed to come inside to access the attic, which we weren’t warned about either). The installers weren’t able to install everything in one day like they planned due to rain (which is totally understandable), but then we had to keep calling to figure out when the installers would be coming back to finish. After install, we were told we would be contacted to set up a time to get the app set up on our phones, but we still had to call a few times to get that set up as we were never contacted.Overall, I’d still recommend them since we’re happy with our panels, but better communication would have made the process much easier.
Excellent experience with PacWest Solar! While we didn't initially seek out solar, it seemed to just make sense in the long run. We worked with Heath as the salesperson and he explains every step of the process- super nice and helpful. The office staff and on-site installers were all great too. The federal tax savings are incredible! We're looking forward to the cost savings of solar for years to come! I highly encourage you to take the leap and GO SOLAR!
Very professional and service oriented team. Very competitive pricing for the products I purchased. And salesman Heath has gone above and beyond to make sure I am happy with my purchase.
EDITED REVIEW - After my residental solar installation failed the City of Spokane inspection 3 times, it somehow magically passed inspection on the 4th try, with nothing about the system or the paperwork changing, which is clearly a problem on the city end.Which makes this a complicated review. I still have issue with PacWest Solar's customer communications, which are pretty bad. However, it's hard to find fault with their actual work, or their work crews - the installation team was highly professional, prompt, and very tidy.We ended up with the system we wanted, only 7 months later than we expected. It seemed like our project sat overlooked on someone's desk after the initial round of construction permits were approved. That, coupled with the delays in getting the city inspection completed, added to our general sense that PacWest has some internal company issues to deal with. Overall, our experience with PacWest (and their parent company in Ellensburg) was more frustrating than it should have been due to poor communication.
