I’m so glad I chose Route 66 Solar for the solar installation on my new home. From start to finish, the experience was smooth, informative, and stress-free. They took the time to explain everything clearly and patiently answered all of my questions throughout the process. The installation was completed in a timely manner, and the customer service was top-tier. Kerry was wonderful to work with and incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and responsive. I had a fantastic experience with Route 66! From start to finish, their customer service was top-notch—friendly, knowledgeable, and always responsive to any questions I had. It was clear that they prioritize not only their customers but also their community and the environment.I was very impressed by their commitment to social responsibility. They're not just focused on selling solar panels—they actively work to make a positive impact, both locally and globally. You can tell they genuinely care about sustainability and doing the right thing.Even more importantly, Route 66 treats its employees well. That makes all the difference in the world! Everyone I spoke to was passionate about their work, and it was obvious that they’re valued and supported by the company. It makes a difference when you know the team behind the product is happy and motivated. If you're considering going solar, I highly recommend Route 66. Great service, great values, and a company that’s truly making a difference!
Let me first start by saying the system seems to finally be working well, and each person I have interacted with has been kind and respectful throughout the process. The downside: Upon installation (late July) our yard, driveway and landscaping plants were destroyed to the point of total removal. They promised to make sure everything was put back and leveled out. They would do everything but spread grass seed. That didn't happen. Our trench from the panels to the house, and the house to the garage is treacherous. The batteries had issues for the first 3 months of the install. This pushed back our solar efficiency, Ameren approval, and is still delaying overall savings for switching. I have sent four emails and two texts to Scott and others over the past few months, no response yet. Hoping an honest review may spark a willingness to respond to their client who was/is going through the ringer with them. If there is no resolution, I will post pictures and timelines.
Scott and his crew were very helpful In this decision. They did everything they stated they would do from the start date to completion of this project. They also answered all my questions before and after installation. I spoke with 4 companies prior to Scott at Rt 66 , his knowledge and honesty was far better than any other company I spoke with. I highly recommend Rt 66 Solar for any solar project. Thanks for the great service Scott.
Getting solar panels installed can be a daunting task. Route 66 stood out right from the start. Scott scheduled an appointment to come home and explain the process and provided different quote based on the location of installation. The team worked seamlessly to get all the permits and scheduled the install fairly quickly. The crew on the day of installation was extremely professional and courteous. They explained what was going on and what next steps were. Got an EV charger installed along with the panels and everything went really smooth. From the installation to getting system turned on, it took slightly more than 3 weeks which I think is great considering the system had to go through inspection by several regulatory bodies. Thanks Scott and team for a job well done.
