Sunrun’s Stockton team supports homeowners with solar and battery installations, coordinating each step from design to activation. The office helps manage schedules, inspections, and utility interconnection while providing a primary point of contact.
Local homeowners choose Sunrun for guidance through permitting, clear scheduling updates, and options that include solar with or without a home battery. The Stockton location offers a single point of contact to keep projects moving from design to activation.
Primary service is in Stockton and nearby San Joaquin County communities, with projects considered in adjacent Central Valley areas based on availability.
Services include site assessment, solar system design, panel installation, battery add-on options, permitting and inspection coordination, and utility interconnection support.
Reviews frequently mention helpful guidance from individual representatives and steady communication during design and installation. Many customers note clear explanations, follow-up after install, and satisfaction with savings expectations. A smaller number report delays tied to inspections, utility steps, or battery component issues, and describe frustration when coordination between parties breaks down. Overall sentiment trends positive with communication and support cited as strengths.
Felix help me with my solar and battery. Im so glad he helped me understand the situation with our grid and the importance to be protected. I won’t have to be worried about my food in the refrigerator and power outages. Thank you Felix!!! You are a genuine and trustworthy guy and also the sunrun crew for a smooth transition.
I must be an exception. My experience with Sunrun has turned horrible. In February 2025 the Powerwall locked up before the system was even activated. I was passed off from Sunrun to Tesla and back and forth trying to get it resolved. Even though this was reported to Sunrun, no internal communication happened, and the system failed city inspection. Once the Powerwall was fixed, I had to take a 2nd day off work for the city to come out and sign off. March of 2025 I noticed a heavy residue on the panels. Went round and round with Sunrun until a crew finally showed up 16 days later (another day off work) and from Sunrun's own install pictures, determined a can of adhesive had ruptured during install and covered the panels. 8 panels were replaced. Now mid-August, hottest days of the year, the Powerwall went offline once again. Opened case with Sunrun on 8/23/25 and power cycled the unit several times. Sunrun finally responded that they would need to send someone out. Tech arrived 9/16 (another day off work), 24 days later, and informed me a new Powerwall would need to be installed. Scheduled yet another appointment and another day off work for 9/29/25. On 9/29 at 12:03 PM, three minutes after the scheduled appointment start time, I received an email stating Sunrun was short staffed and needed to reschedule for 10/7, which I am not available that week. Mind you at this point I have paid Sunrun while also paying PG&E, as the panels are producing zero electricity, so paying double what I should be for electricity. Sunrun has also received the Fed rebate (our tax money at work). I have also taken multiple days off work using precious PTO, and still have a non-functioning system. Using data from the Tesla app, the Powerwall has not been functioning for 35 days. I am beyond frustrated and plan on cancelling my auto-pay and replied for Sunrun to come and remove their equipment. From my experience, I would highly recommend NOT going with Sunrun. Guess time will tell where all this ends up.Here it is 11/19, a month and 15 days since I was contacted by Brandon, a customer specialist, and still no resolution. In fact, my case has now been passed along to another rep named Audrey. I have an appointment scheduled for 11/26 to replace the Powerwall. I was just informed (11/19) that the 11/26 appointment was to evaluate the battery. That was already done remotely and then in person on 9/16 and it was determined the Powerwall needed to be replaced. Here we go again! More time wasted and nothing resolved. Next step is to move forward with a lawyer specializing in solar. Interesting that specialty even exists. It is more than obvious Sunrun prioritizes new installs to get their solar rebate and then kicks existing customers to the curb. And yes, Sunrun is still collecting their lease payment while I also pay PG&E.12/8/25 - Sunrun was supposed to finally come out and replace the Powerwall the afternoon of 12/8/25. Several texts and emails over the past week confirming the appointment and that equipment was ready. 9:30 AM on 12/8/25 I received a message that the appointment needed to be rescheduled (once again).12/11/25 - New Powerwall installed. Fingers crossed. It has been a long, and at times stressful, 3 months and 18 days.
I am so happy that I made the switch to Sunrun! I worked with Andrew W through the process and he was very knowledgeable and answered all questions we had. I really liked the money saved too!
Very happy with my solar installation and Sunrun. Working with Krystle throughout the process was a great experience. She was very knowledgeable and kept in contact with me throughout the entire process and after the installation. So happy with the who process I referred my good friend who also went solar with Sunrun.
Andrew Wadahara was great to work with, his detailed information was very helpful and easy to understand.. His knowledge about the product great for me to figure out what would be the wright road to take on this.. I like how he has followed up with phone calls and texts to check in to see how things are going and to see if I had any questions or concerns.. All of this I feel is super important and helps take the fear of making a big purchase, I would recommend SunRun to everyone looking to get solar.. Thank you Andrew …….
