Mount Solar & Electric

It took me about a year to find an honest solar company to assist with removal and reinstall of my panels on my roof. Short story - the original company ( Lumio) who should have warrantied their work for a poor install went bankrupt a month before a leak started and was noticed causing my warranty for install to be void. After many attempts of contacting them and then calling others to get to bids, I find it’s hard to find someone with real experience and with years of knowledge for repairs and installs. Mount Solar was at a home show at the Tacoma Dome and after speaking with them and others at the show I realize they know their stuff and can talk with confidence. They came through, inspected and gave me options to work with based of their expert opinions. Needless to say, I went with Mount Solar for the removal and reinstall and they were attentive and do exactly what we discussed. They communicated every step of the way. Thank you Mount Solar and team for being professional and sliding me into your busy schedule.

It was a delight working with Jenny and Derek to get quotes on a solar and battery installation for my home. Jenny was incredibly responsive, and I really appreciate the attention to detail and technical recommendations offered by Derek based on the unique requirements of our home. They are awesome and I’d definitely work with the Mount Solar team again!

We had a fantastic experience with Mount Solar and can’t recommend them highly enough. After getting quotes from multiple contractors, we chose Mount Solar for three key reasons: they committed to completing our installation before the end of 2024 (ensuring we qualified for the tax credit), they’re a responsive and reliable local business, and their pricing was very competitive. From the moment we reached out (right around Thanksgiving), Derek and Jenny were communicative, professional, and genuinely invested in making the process smooth and stress-free. They clearly care about their customers and their community, and it shows in every interaction. Our primary motivation for installing solar panels and a battery system was to have automatic backup when the power goes out—but we’re also enjoying the bonus of a reduced electric bill. We’re so glad we chose Mount Solar. If you’re considering solar, we wholeheartedly recommend giving them a call.

I selected Mount Solar to enlarge our solar panels because they are local, provide a great warranty and have excellent communication skills! Jenny and Derek are dreams to work with. They are so knowledgeable, reliable, and professional! If you are looking to upgrade your system or put up your first solar panel, Mount Solar is who you should call. I highly recommend them!

When we had the house built a couple of years ago, I wanted to add more solar than the 4 panels that came with the house, but we did not have the funds at the time. When my wife and I started to look at some sort of home backup, I immediately wanted to go with batteries and add to the solar panels, so I started to do research. I contacted several companies and decided to go with Mount Solar because they understood what I was looking for and provided me with the information that I needed to make a decision. Dereck and the team did a stellar job, and I am more than pleased with the end result. They took their time to ensure that everything was done correctly and cleanly installed. I am thrilled with the amount of power that we are generating and am looking forward to the lower power bills to come. I would recommend Mount Solar to anyone that is looking to get solar and batteries installed.
