Reviews frequently mention straightforward, competitive pricing and consistent communication about permits, inspections, and scheduling. Many note quick, well-organized installations and helpful guidance on technical and financial questions. Several customers appreciated coordination with HOAs and utilities, reducing delays. Feedback also cites professionalism and follow-through from initial quote to activation.

Rexx was great to work with. Pricing was straight forward and competitive. This is a family operated company. Which is one of the reasons I chose them.
The whole process from signing the contract to installation of the solar system took only three weeks and it was held up only because of the HOA approval process or else they would’ve been able to do it in one week. The system only took about six hours to install, and it turned out great. Conversation with the installer on how the conduits were going to be installed, they took the mindset as if they were installing on their own home. I did not have the paint for them to paint the conduits but they will paint them when they come back to commission the system.

Now waiting on city and APS inspection and can’t wait to turn it on.

Highly recommend!

I chose them because of Rexx. I always have oddball questions both technical and financial. It was obvious that Rexx knew the ins and out his trade so I picked him. The price was competitive and he was flexible on how to structure things. It was fair to both. That was in August. City of Phoenix approved the plans within three weeks or so Rexx was ready. But wait my roof was close to end of life, so I chose to do the roof first. Rexx's recommendations either did not give a warm and fuzzy feeling or they were just over priced. So I chose my own roofer. That delayed things until early October.
There were questions on how many panels I can install. Initially, the number was 24 max. Then after the drone inspection, it was 30. So I approved 30. Once they installed it was obvious that it could have been 40. I also bought the Tesla Powerwall battery.
The inspection took forever. It didn't happen until early December. I don't know who is to blame. Then we failed the inspection because the fire alarm in the garage didn't trigger alarms in the house. UEP was here the next day hardwiring another fire alarm in the house. They also hired a terrific drywall repair company that fixed all the drywall/ceiling from that issue. No charge to me. Once we passed he fire inspection, the city inspector came out. Grumpy as hell. He failed us for not having a 200 amp fuse for the whole house. UPS had to order a new box that included a bomb size fuse. They installed it. Then the city changed its mind and decided that a fuse was not needed and not wanted.  UPS changed it back. Inspection passed. In the meantime, its January and no solar despite being fully installed in early October. Finally, mid February the city changed its meter and we are now a go. It's been three days and I love it.
My advice is get the battery. The utility company stacks the economics against the homeowner otherwise.

Rexx was always professional and a good communicator. More importantly, he was always the point guy. His staff was polite and hard working.

I would very much recommend UEP if you are considering solar.

I can’t say enough great things about Rexx Tessler and his team. From day one, everything was handled with professionalism, transparency, and follow-through. They delivered exactly what they promised and kept every commitment throughout the entire process.

The communication was outstanding. I was consistently updated on permits, inspections, scheduling, and next steps. No guessing, no chasing for answers, no surprises. They made what could have been a stressful project feel smooth and organized.

The installation crew was efficient, respectful, and detail-oriented. Everything was completed cleanly and on time, and they ensured all inspections were handled properly.

It’s rare to find a team that combines technical expertise with strong communication and integrity, but Rexx Tessler and his team absolutely delivered. I would confidently recommend them to anyone considering going solar.

Phoenix is basically ground zero for solar scams, inflated pricing, door knockers, and general confusion, so if you’re shopping for solar here, I get the skepticism.

My family and I moved to Phoenix a couple years ago and bought an older 1990s home that was not very energy efficient. Both my wife and I work from home, and our summer electric bills were pushing $800 a month. Between that and the tax credit being available, I decided it was time to seriously look at solar.

I did not take this lightly. I called just about every SRP-approved solar provider I could find and got quotes from all of them. Same system, wildly different prices. In some cases you’re dealing with commission-heavy salespeople stacking markups. In others, reps who can sell but can’t really explain what they’re selling.

What immediately stood out with United Energy Partners was that I spoke directly with one of the owners. Huge difference. Their pricing was excellent, but more importantly, the answers I got were thoughtful, nuanced, and clearly coming from someone who actually installs systems for a living, not just someone reading off a script. I also love that it’s a group of brothers running the company. You can tell they care about doing things right.

The entire process was smooth from start to finish. System is installed, turned on, and working exactly as expected. Rexx was fantastic to work with throughout the whole process, especially on permitting. I definitely underestimated how much time and coordination permits and inspections take, and when government timelines are involved, you never really know what you’re going to get. Rex handled it all and kept things moving.

Bottom line, I couldn’t be happier. Five stars without hesitation. If you’re considering solar and want a competitive quote, competent installers, and professional electricians who actually know what they’re doing, I highly recommend United Energy Partners. I talked to about ten different companies in town, and I’m very confident I chose the right one.

After my first brutal Arizona summer and seeing how high my electricity bills climbed, I began seriously exploring solar once I learned the federal tax incentives would expire at the end of 2025. With limited time to move forward, I narrowed my search to SRP’s Preferred Installer list to ensure a safe and efficient installation. After sitting through multiple long sales pitches and experiencing everything from pushy tactics to proposals that didn’t feel right, it was important to choose a team that understood my needs and didn’t try to upsell or pressure me.

That’s how I found UEP, one of the preferred installers and a local, family-owned company. They offered competitive pricing and long-term protections, including the 30-year SolarInsure warranty, which gave me peace of mind and really set them apart from the other companies I spoke to. Rexx was professional and great to work with, supporting me throughout the project and keeping me informed at every stage, even while I was traveling. I started the project in mid-September, and the system was fully installed and cleared inspections by the beginning of December, which was a big relief given the tight timeline.

The system looks great and has been performing as expected so far. If I decide to add a battery in the future, I’d absolutely work with them again. If you’re looking for an honest, knowledgeable, and customer-focused solar company, I highly recommend UEP.
