With the pending end of the energy tax credits, I was happy to find Jake to install a Tesla PW3 battery for us. After speaking with him I was confident that he could complete the project and have us on line prior to the deadline. Though there we a few hiccups, including rain, Jake kept the project moving forward and we received our PTO prior to the end of the year. I would recommend Jake for any electrical work and wish him the best.
We are so happy we went with Alternative Energy Solutions. Jake was terrific - he walked me through the process up front and in person at my new house, answered my many question, and now we have a wonderful system installed (panels plus power wall) that works like a dream. Now we sleep better at night knowing that with the power wall, we can run our system off grid without worry if there is ever a major power issue. Meanwhile our power usage with SCE is essentially nil - and we just got our permission to operate so now we are sending energy back to SCE. The work looks great and the system integrates perfectly with our hose. In every way we are happy with Jake and his company and the solar system that he installed. Highly recommend.
INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE!! Jake is honest, professional, and has a wonderful personality to work with. The final price matched his original quote to the dollar and even finished ahead of schedule with zero stress. You can tell he really cares about his business being accountable with exceptional communication from start to finish. He installed an 11 kW system + a Powerwall 3 battery and handled all of the permitting, etc.My wife and I wanted to pull the trigger on solar in 2025 before the 30% tax credit ends. We interviewed Sunrun who were extremely salesy pushing their PPA. We also inquired with Tesla directly but felt like just another number with no urgency to complete before year end 2025. Jake had our solar system up and running by the time Tesla would have been able to come out on the initial assessment visit.Jake and his team did such a wonderful job that several neighbors have asked us who installed our solar and each time I give Jake's info with a strong endorsement. Going with Jake as a local installer was the best decision we could have made! Thank you again for everything!!
I used Alternative energy solutions to add a power wall 3 to my existing solar system and i could not be happier. Jake, the owner of the company is who you are dealing with from start to finish. He takes pride in his company and it shows through his customer service and his work. The installation was very clean and there is no conduit run along our exterior walls . All that you see is a floating battery. I wish I had known about Alternative energy solutions back when I had put up my solar panels but I will be using them for any additional energy needs moving forward.
Jake is one of the best professionals I've ever had work on my home. He has great communication, excellent independent advice, and top quality work. We are so happy with the rooftop panels and battery system Jake installed! We compared AES against other bigger companies and I felt like the other companies were pushing specific vendors and we were "just a number". AES gave us the pros and cons of various installation options and vendors and I felt much better informed and confident in our choices.
