Great team to work with. Fantastic support and high quality results. I recommend them to everyone. Awesome experience.
After shopping around quite a bit, we're very happy we ended up working with VREC! A friendly and responsive team, and great folks to work with.Did a great job figuring out what would work well for us. Ended up with a nice 9kW system on our space-challenged townhouse roof.
VREC did a fantastic job on the solar install at our house. 16.4 kW with 41 Bauer panels has taken us to what should be just beyond net zero.Duncan and Sarah were very thorough with their technical explanations for the various design choices we went through over the course of the project, including sharing the insolation modelling results which were a key factor in us choosing to upsize our installation from an initially-suggested 10 kW to our eventual 16 kW system. This is a key point in how honest and earnest they are as a business — there was zero pressure to upsell, unlike some other companies we had contacted as part of our project due diligence. Rather, Duncan tried to talk us down to a smaller system with a smaller capital outlay, but the numbers suggest that the bigger system we ended up with, supported by the current government rebate scheme, is better for us and the environment in the long run.On top of all that, the VREC quote was reasonable for the known cost of all of the inputs — they charge a reasonable rate on materials and for their labour, which both makes our bank book happy as well as gives us confidence that they’ll be around to service the system for a while yet (unlike a previous solar contractor we worked with in the past).VREC have been a good partner to us and I highly recommend them.
VREC is a trustworthy solar panel installation contractor I hired back in 2023. My 7KW solar system installed by VREC has been running almost a year without issues. They are pretty quick at responding to customer inquiries and did a great electrical job too. Among all quotes from several local contractors, VREC wins by its products line and decent price. To be honest, I had to wait a very long time from initial quote to finally complete installation due to multiple factors. During installation there were some missed appointments but they were able to follow up eventually. This is something that can be improved in the future.Overall I am a happy customer and wish VREC success in the future.
Duncan and Michelle with VREC were very informative, and thorough. I appreciate a lot of detail and they didn't shy away from all our questions! We got a 20kwh system with Bauer panels so it was a big investment and a big project but everything was done perfectly. I felt well taken care of as a customer, so even though the process took a long time due to the government loan etc I never felt forgotten about or unimportant.
