System was professionally installed and has worked as promised. I contacted several solar installation companies, but Lloyd was only one who took the time to visit the job site. It’s an off grid system and I couldn’t be happier with it.
Lloyd is a very friendly guy, very informative and willing to teach me what I need to know about a solar system. He answered my calls and return calls when he couldn’t answer in a timely manner. I believe his price was fair. His service is local. You need to look at his business before you go elsewhere
We had a grid tied solar system installed by solarwaco on a ground mounted system. Pricing was OK, but service is terrible. We had a service call underwarranty where a. Cpl panels blew off due to not having been anchored correctly.Lucky we had an extra of our own panel that could be installed.LLYOD, owner of Solar Waco said he would reinverse us for the cost of the panel since we supplied our own,and he would have had to buy another one .Called him many ,many times and he has yet to re inverse us the cost of the panel which was about 500.00 he offered 100. !!Lloyd talks a good talk but service is terribleDoes not stand behind his word. , so basically he is lying to his customers about what he is going to do!!His workers know more about solar than LLoyd does!!There are other more reputable solar installers than Solar Waco.Before you invest in an installer , do your homework or install it your self!!!It's not that hard!!!In response to Lloyd's message.LLoyd, we decided to use our own panel in order to assist your workers in completing the warranty work faster and not having to wait on you supplying us with another panel and waiting a week or more for your guys to come out to complete the warranty work. It would have been a lot of wasted time for them and us.You indicated that you would reinverse us for the panel and offered us $100. We have yet to see that money and your workman has never come back to anchor the panel with the correct lock nut. It's a small item I know !! It's been taken care of though.My wife had called you several times to see when and if you would ever send that check to us and you refused to do it and quit responding to her ph calls and basically insulted her.Let's get the story straight !!As far as your recommendation , about doing this kind of work your self I disagree . I had to correct your design engineers lay out drawing that was supplied for the work because the layout was incorrect and questioned the bracing Cals supplied, as well.as coordinated with your elect sub on other things , more on the placing /location of the inverters and how they were going to install rigid elect piping in our attic.My wife and I designed and phyically built our own house , so I do know how to put things like this together. I build much larger municipal water type construction projects all over the country.I just have a problem with folks who don't stand behind their word.If you can't do that, you simply lose any integrity you ever had.
Lloyd is a horrible person. Did standbehind his warranty. He refused to reimburse me for a panel that blew off due negligence on installation. He told me he didn't want to talk to me anymore about it. Never called me back. Do NOT TRUST THIS MAN!!! After he did the job and received 27,000.00 from us refused to reimburse 350.00 for the panel that blew off.
Lloyd and Lisa were truly a wonderful help when it came to helping my seller get her house sold after running into some issues from solar panels that another company placed previously. As a local Waco Realtor, I need to find partners in the industry to help me get deals done and Lloyd was very open and honest about what he do to do help us in our situation. He could have turned us away because of the depth of repairs that were needed and because the panels in question were not placed by SolarWaco originally, but he went out of his way to help us anyways. I'll be sure to recommend all of my future clients to SolarWaco should they need a local solar company. Thank you Lloyd and Lisa!!
