Reviews note steady communication from certain representatives and efficient scheduling through permitting and installation. Homeowners frequently mention professional, courteous install crews and clear walkthroughs after the job. Some feedback raises concerns about sales contract changes and clarity around financing terms. Overall ratings reflect a mix of smooth installations and calls for more upfront detail during the sales process.
The energy consultant Laura Amaya was very clear when providing the information about the program everyone is paying on the energy bills; everything was easy to understand, and she maintained constant communication with me.They were very efficient throughout the service and application process—record time for installation, permits, etc. Excellent work by the engineers, technicians, and installers.I recommend Trinity Solar, if you are looking to go solar.
Trinity Solar recently installed a solar system on our house in Cranston. From sales to service, I unfortunately can't give Trinity a 5 star review like I would've hoped.First - the sales. Sales went back and forth with me a million times. Changing the terms and conditions, changing which bank they use, and ultimately forcing me into a contract that I previously opted out of. They claimed that if I went with my original choice it would've taken "months" to turn on my system. I think it was a bait and switch and they got some kickback if they used one bank over another. It felt very scam like, but I fell for it. You should definitely do your research, and ensure whatever leasing/finance option they give you, and you like, STICK TO IT, regardless of what they say.Install - The install team did a hack job on my BRAND NEW roof. They made multiple holes, dented multiple vents, and ultimately caused damage. I immediately called them to get someone out here and they did fix the shingles, and vents no problem but that shouldn't have happened.Service - My system is only 3 months old and right off the bat one panel was completely not working. Regardless of what sales tells you THESE PANELS ARE NOT FROM THE US. They're cheap Chinese panels that clearly break easily. It took MULTIPLE emails and appointments for them to swap the dead panel with a new one, on a system that was only 3 months old. The back and forth was ridiculous and made me completely loose faith in them as a company.Overall? The people who show up and do the work on the ground are very nice. they're the local office who you'll be dealing with mainly. The people over email, and corporate? They lack communication with the team here in RI, which led to multiple communication issues with me as the customer. I like my solar system, especially in a state that rips you off constantly with electricity cost, but the overall experience I had with Trinity was tarnished by constant communication issues and hurdles to jump through.
The crew of 4 that installed my solar panels were very personable and respectful. Couldn’t ask for a better bunch of guys.. during the process their safety inspector showed up to make sure safety guidelines were followed…..The Rep guy Carl who started the process was professional & responded to my questions in a timely manner… if you go with Trinity ask them to send Ed’s crew, they are very experienced in their trade….you won’t be disappointed…
Trinity Solar is a trustworthy company with high standards. Their staff from the outreach team knocking on doors to set up appointments to the salespeople are all fully trained and knowledgeable. They are friendly, patient and thorough in their presentations of best options and programs. Brian sat with me on two occasions to answer all my questions and work out all the financial options. I am not ready to actually install solar panels right now. I have some prep work to do on my property first and it falls after a construction project in progress that is winding down this year. However, Brian did not push me or make me feel like I was wasting his time. Because of the positive experience that I had with Trinity Solar, they are the only company I will be contacting when my property is ready for adding solar.
Great experience- Merritt was communicative and professional, and did a tremendous job with our install from start to finish. She remained available afterwards to guide us through all of the rebate process and made the entire process way more straightforward than I was anticipating!
