The True Solar team was great to work with. They were all kind, friendly, and real. They were very straight forward with information and questions. They didn’t give false information to make themselves look better. I appreciated that very much. They communicated well throughout my entire solar project and were very thorough. My project also was done quickly. From the time I signed my contract to the time my panels went up was only approximately 6 weeks and this was during a time that many people were signing up to get solar installed to be able to get the solar tax credit. I talked to 5 different companies while I was searching for solar and I’m happy that I decided to go with True Solar.

Travis and the team at Tru Solar were excellent to work with from start to finish. From the initial contact to the on-site visit and follow-up, everything was handled smoothly and professionally.

I worked directly with Travis, who was responsive and straightforward throughout the process. Grant, the on-site technician, was extremely knowledgeable and thorough, taking the time to walk through all of our concerns and potential recommendations. After the visit, Travis followed up to review what was discussed and answer any remaining questions.

I really appreciated their approach. It’s hard to find a reliable solar maintenance and repair company, but Tru Solar is it. I highly recommend giving them a call for any solar needs—you’ll be glad you did.

Travis & True Solar in Tiffin, Iowa, are our new heroes! Our residential solar array was installed by Ideal Energy 10 years ago. Last January Ideal Energy informed us they would no longer provide repairs/service for their residential customers. Since we had had zero need of repair in 10 years, we didn't panic. However, this fall a wire went wonky at the top of our array. Half of our panels were not working. Ugh. After making several calls we learned none of our local solar companies had time to help us. :-( Tiffin, Iowa, is a couple of hours away from us, but we contacted True Solar. After first trying to fix it remotely; Travis arrived with a really long ladder and fixed it all by himself. We were up and running! Price was SUPER reasonable. True Solar is now our one and only solar company.

Our salesman, Dave Lidquist, is absolutely the best! The follow-up throughout the process was amazing, and the whole team made sure I was informed every step of the way.

The design and look of my solar system turned out fantastic, and nothing feels sweeter than not having to pay the electric company for my electricity usage. True Solar exceeded my expectations in every way.
