I started my solar experience with one of those big companies that chased me down in home depot. I went through most of the process with them but then when it came time to install I pulled the plug last second something just didn't feel right. Fast forward almost a year later one of my good friends starts telling me that he is getting solar and is going with SunPol and I should at least get a quote with them and see what they have to offer. I ended up meeting with Eryk and it was the best decision I made. He came to the house did a walkaround the property and right on the spot plugged in some numbers into his computer and gave me a quote. He also gave me a simulation on how much the system would produce each month and what to expect. Then when it came down to final price it much less than the big company! With the big company they wanted me to lease it from them for 25 years and then I get to keep it. With SunPol's quote I instead financed it for 5 years and then I get to keep it. The payment was not much different either! SunPol kept me updated every step of the way and it was exciting! Unfortunately, because it was the end of the year, the tariffs and supply chain issues the Maxeon panels I was originally quoted for were on back order. SunPol immediately alerted me to the issue and gave me options how to proceed. I needed to get my system installed by the end of the year to get the tax credits so they recommend the Seg panels. They quickly got everything together and got them installed. Installation day was a breeze they had multiple crews and everyone got their job done no issues. I am not really sure why that other review on here said SunPol called them multiple times because while I was deciding on whether to go with SunPol or not they never called or annoyed me on what my decision is they are not a pushy company at all. So far the system has been working great and for the winter producing more than I expected! I will update my review a year from now with how much power they predicted I would produce with how much it actually produced. Overall, I would recommend SunPol to any of my friends and I have been recommending them constantly! haha my friends and family are sick of me with how much I talk about my solar.
SunPol recently installed our solar system and we were absolutely thrilled with their service! We initially chose to contact them because they're one of the few certified REC installers in the area and couldn't be happier with our decision. Eryk was extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process, was always quick to answer when we had questions, and kept us up-to-date with the project's status. The electrician and other installers working at the house were also all very friendly and did a fantastic job with the installation. SunPol LLCFrom the first time I spoke with Eryk on the phone I clearly noticed a difference between several other companies that I called and Eryk, owner of SunPol. He was not pushy at all and actually listened to me and my specific needs and then worked up a proposal and said call me if you have any further questions. I hung up and thought that was pretty painless.After doing my homework and feeling pretty good about SunPol and Eryk I decided to order a new Franklin battery for my present Enphase solar array. The process with Eversource and the town took 3 months (be patient) and then it was time for delivery & install of my new Franklin battery.Marcin, the other partner of SunPol and master electrician, showed up with another electrician early on installation day. They worked very hard all day long in 90 degree weather in my garage and I ended up with a beautiful installation at the end of the day. Then they returned a few days later to finish up the wiring. Commissioned my battery to work and then he switched it on and voila, my new Franklin battery was running my home.Over the next week I performed several test on the battery to make sure everything was 100%. Then I ran my battery down very low and started my portable Inverter generator to charge up the battery and it worked great! WOW, what an easy process that was, using the generator. Having the generator wired directly into the Franklin made the whole process super easy to use if you need it. Remember your solar will charge your battery if you have solar, but on a extended outage you may need a generator. OR buy several batteries, but very costly.In short, a Franklin battery apower2 can last about 24 hrs, if your very careful with your electrical usage in your home during the outage. It really helps if you have a good understanding on what uses, how much wattage in your home. If you get a inverter generator you can easily go many days with 1 battery with very little effort on your part. Also get a inverter generator not a regular generator for good clean energy going into your Franklin battery.Pricing was very reasonable compared to most and although a smaller company they know what they are doing. Words that characterize this company. Honest and straight forward with no games, professional and just easy to do business with.The Franklin battery system is everything that Franklin and others claim it to be. Franklin’s customer service is truly second to none and Ive been around a while. Its easy to see why this company is growing like a wildfire in California.On a scale from 1-10 and 10 being the best.
