Working with Pro Terra has been a rewarding experience. During the construction of the pergola there occurred some issues that were unforeseen from the beginning. All of which were resolved to my satisfaction which caused the end product to be better than my original vision of what it would have been. My concerns were taken seriously and addressed promptly. I am happy with the end product.
Earlier this year I contacted Pro Terra Solar to see about having solar panels put on my house. My salesman (Jon) was amazing! They deal with all the financing in house and there was no hassle at all in getting everything done easily and quickly!Sterling was the foreman who managed my installation. He also was very knowledgeable and helpful thru the whole process. Very professional and top-notch work.My system is a bit more complex than most with solar panels, whole house battery backup, and a generator on top of that. The Franklin system that they installed is amazing. When the power goes out, the only way I know is my phone notifies me that the grid is no longer available. I don't even have to reset my clocks, tv's stay on, internet never blinks! It is just amazing products installed by true professionals!I have and will continue to recommend them to anyone interested!!
If there was an option for zero stars I’d give that! They are a terrible company to work with! Once they get your money the customer service stops and they no longer care about you! I had to have my solar panels removed from my roof so it could be replaced and because they under bid the job with my insurance they are screwing me by delaying my reinstall. I asked the owner why and he said it was because of scheduling. They only scheduled my install for one day when they knew it should have been two and now I’ve had to wait two weeks past the original install date. He said he was doing me a favor by doing the job and not making any money from it because they bid the job too low, like that was my fault or something. So now not only do I have my solar payment but now a rising electricity bill because it’s mid August in Kansas! They also lied to me when we fist did the contract, the salesman said we would get $20k back from taxes and we could put that on our payment to keep it the same but what they didn’t tell me is that the feds will never give you the whole amount in one year and by the time you get the other half the date will pass to have all $20k back in the loan to keep the payments the same. Be careful on what these snakes tell you before you sign with them. Oh and you can’t work with anyone else for work on them like taking them off or it would void the warranty! They also left screws all over my driveway and let themselves into my garage to use an outlet without asking and blocked a garage door without asking if I use it. New roof new garage doors, no panels!
