I had an extremely positive experience from quote to install! Solar expert Josh M. and Installation Project Manager Leo S. were extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions about solar panels with battery backup. They handled all the permits promptly and scheduled all the inspections with the city, electricians, & electric company flawlessly! Strawberry was even able to install my solar system a month earlier than originally planned. With a wealth of solar panel & battery technical knowledge, 15 years experience in the solar industry, and incredible customer service response, I can't say enough positive things about Strawberry Solar! I've already recommended Strawberry to coworkers. 5/5 stars for sure and I'd give them more if I could!

I would definitely recommend Strawberry Solar based on my experience. When I began searching for solar solutions, I came across several companies on EnergySage. Unlike other companies that just sent standard quotes, Strawberry offered to visit my home for an initial meeting. This personal touch made a big difference. Their representative, Ollie, was not only friendly but also very knowledgeable. On his first visit, we went up to the roof together to evaluate the site and talk about potential solar options.

Strawberry Solar’s quote was not only competitive but also the most thorough in addressing my needs. The need for a new roof delayed my project, but it allowed me to reconfigure some external vents. This change enabled an upgrade to larger panels and three additional ones, better meeting my electrical demand. Ollie was super patient with me as we worked through the changes and got the system just right.

I selected REC panels, Enphase system components, 10KW battery backup with future-proofing for bi-directional charging. I also upgrade my main service panel as Strawberry Solar is Span.io certified and they offered a reasonable price for the Span.io panel upgrade. This technology allows real-time monitoring and control over individual circuits in the home, a feature I highly recommend.

I must also say that Strawberry Solar’s contract was impressively detailed, outlining every step and timeframe, offering clarity and assurance far beyond typical contractor agreements.

After I signed on, Tim was assigned as my Product Manager and proceeded to work with me every step of the way on the project, keeping me informed with great communication. The installation week was seamless, with highly skilled electricians executing a neat and efficient plan that impressed even the Electrical Inspector. As an Electrical Engineer myself the electrical work was meticulous and done with minimal power interruptions. Seeing other system photos online, I expected conduit all over the place, but what was installed was very neat and well organized.

Upon activation, the system worked flawlessly. Not one wire out of place, not one problem, amazing! Tim thoroughly explained everything and answered all my questions about the system and the software. I learned that Strawberry Solar excels in communication and employs friendly, dedicated staff all around.

As a satisfied customer, I’m now enjoying reduced electrical bills and a smaller carbon footprint. My first month’s savings even surpassed the forecast, despite poor weather. I am delighted with Strawberry Solar’s performance and I can highly recommend.
