Overall sentiment is mixed but leans positive on attentiveness and explanations.
I have had a terrible experience with Cosmo Solaris. I signed my contract with them in July 2025. As of today's date, of Dec 11 2025, I still do not have a solar system that is fully functional. The installers showed up and installed system but did not have a critical component that left the system only able to charge the battery. It seems the site meter was not configured. Without a site meter, system will not operate fully. I am highly disappointed. It took Cosmo Solar over 3 months to get the permitting approved and another 2 months to get materials and install date on the calendar. Throughout the process Cosmo Solaris customer's service has been horrible. I could not get anybody to answer or return phone calls or text for my project status. So here I sit with a system not functioning properly and Cosmo Solaris will not provide me any updates as to when they will come back to install missing components, final inspection or commissioning of the system. It has been a terrible customer service experience. I see no end in sight.
I had a truly excellent experience with Cosmo Solaris. From the first consultation to the final installation, their team was professional, honest, and incredibly knowledgeable. They took the time to explain every step of the process and helped me choose the right solar system for my home. The installation was smooth and completed on schedule. The crew worked neatly, respected my property, and made sure everything was set up exactly the way I wanted. The system has been performing perfectly, and I can already see the difference in my energy usage. What stood out most was their customer service. They were always available to answer questions, provided clear updates, and made the entire experience stress-free. It is rare to find a company that genuinely cares about the customer, but Cosmo Solaris absolutely does.I highly recommend them to anyone considering solar. They delivered great work and a great experience.
“The people at Cosmo Solaris are wonderful to work with- especially Mike a PM”I have had terrific experiences with the people at Cosmo Solaris- all have been knowledgeable a willing to go above and beyond to satisfythe customer. This has been especially true of the project manager I have been working with. Mike is both knowledgable and extremely professional in his demeaner. He has been responsive and anticipates the next step in managing the process from engineering drawings through parts shipments as well as the installation. The PM is the primary interface once the project gets going and is clearly the person that is most critical to a succesful project. I comment Cosmo for having a person as talented and as customer focused as Mike, and have nothing but high praise for him
Please do not go with this company. It was by far my worst experience I live in western Pennsylvania near Pittsburgh. When I agreed to this deal they had told me that they had installers from Pennsylvania. They brought up people from Baltimore where they are located for the first time of the install so let’s start with the first incident. They shipped solar panels not the ones that we had agreed on but other ones that were broke scratched weren’t packaged just throw thrown on a pallet weren’t even strapped down so I had to call and say hey there’s a lot of damage to these solar panels. One of them had a major damage. That’s the only one they wanted to replace so I had to tell them that I am not going to pay until you get me brand new out of the box solar panels so they did then the installer came while the broken ones were still there because they said he could at least still put up the frames and he goes to put up the frames and the footing for them were for shingle roof and I have a metal roof so he left after driving two hours from Baltimore to install so the project manager. His name is Mike Smith said that he could bring some installers and can you be there Thursday? I told him I couldn’t the only days I work from home are Tuesdays and Wednesdays so about two weeks later I’m in Columbus Ohio four hours away working on a disaster recovery project when 7:30 in the morning Mike Smith calls me and asks if they can start working on my roof I told him I didn’t really want them to, but I don’t see why I needed to be there. They were there for at least 10 hours and the one guy just disappeared so I had to call him and he said he was at Home Depot waiting to pick up cable. He was literally gone for four hours so the other two just sat at my house for four hours so the next morning while I’m still at work in Columbus Ohio, Mike calls me and says they are gonna need to be in the house to install things so I had to call a friend to drive over and let them in my house. I drove home four hours away show up to see how everything‘s going. I want to see how the solar panels look, and while walking by where all my tools were for an outside project I have in my back porch is where I stored them. I noticed my gloves very expensive gloves are missing two of them, so I have to ask the workers which these workers drove 20 hours from Texas to be the Pennsylvania installers they let me know. Yes we used your gloves which I don’t understand that I walk around to see the work and they ran the conduit over my gutter to save money, so I asked why they did that and they said their foreman her manager, whatever told them that they didn’t want to run it towards the peak and down the side like every other installer I’ve seen do because it just didn’t look good now aesthetically it looks so much better than running it over the middle of my gutter where it pinched the gutter and had the nails protruding out so I call Mike tell him about the gloves. They were nice enough to reimburse me the money for the gloves so I could get new gloves that weren’t overly stretched out and he said we’re going to fix this and run the conduit the way you wanted to and then we are gonna get an inspector to come in and make sure the work was done properly. Well, the inspector shows up one day luckily I was home and you know I’m here to inspect the solar install. I had no notification of it. I was working from home and I called Mike and said hey I thought we were going to do the fix then the inspection and he apologized for it. Then he called me yesterday which was Thursday, 9 October 2025 and asked if I could be home on Friday for the installer to come and rerun the conduit. I said I couldn’t I have work I won’t be home. Can we schedule it for next week so while I am working my cameras go off I look and there is somebody climbing up onto my roof on a ladder to what I’m thinking or guessing they were running conduit. I don’t even know what happened. Please make sure you get a diagram of how they’re going to run the conduit on your roof.
Cosmo Solaris was an excellent company to do business with. Martin and ozman made everything go smoothly. They both were on top of everything from the very beginning. They were also very communicative and were always just informative. Every question I had they answered no matter what it was. And they work beyond to make sure everything got done correctly. So happy I went with cosmo Solaris and you should too !!!
