Installation: I hired Roofing Monkeys in the fall of 2023 to replace my complete roof (2 flat, sections with shingles). The contract included adding insulation as part of the new roof. During the installation, I noticed the team was not adding any insulation, so I notified the sales team, and they insisted it was being added. I sent them a series of photos showing they were not adding any insulation, and they did not respond with any resolution. The quality of the work was sub-par; there were areas of the flat roof with tar-shaped footprints. These were my first red flag that this company was not to be trusted, but at this point the new roof was mostly installed, so I had to live with it.

First leak: Fast forward to the fall of 2024, my flat roof started leaking. They sent out a repair crew, and he needed to spend almost 3 hours repairing the flat roof. He informed me that the team that installed my 3rd floor roof didn't secure it correctly, and it had lifted up and was waterlogged. He had to cut out a large section of the flat roof and rebuild it. He then asked me if anywhere else on the roof was leaking, filling me with extreme confidence in the quality of their work. He indicated that other areas may have not been secured correctly.

Second leak: In January 2026, the same roof started leaking again in almost the same location. I contacted the Roofing Monkey support line, and they informed me a repair crew could come out the following Tuesday at 9am (4 days later). On the Tuesday, nobody arrived, and I tried calling to see where they were. Brian did not respond to my call and only texted to call later. I asked where they were, and he said they would instead come Thursday. Over the next 1.5 months, they kept saying they would come on a specific day, then not show up, and I would have to call/text to ask where they were, and they would have to reschedule for another 1-5 days later. By my count, they promised to come 7 times and never came. They also never notified me they were not coming that day, I always had to follow up and ask where they were. Completely unprofessional on all levels. They came once in those 1.5 months, said there was too much ice and they couldn't do anything, and said they would come back after a few days of sunshine. After a week of sunshine, they just never came back.

Outcome: I am now in the process of filing a small claims court action against them for abandoning their warranty, as well as the structural repairs due to the leak. If you value not just the installation quality but also the warranty you are buying, go with another company and save yourself the headache!

Late this summer I hired roofing monkeys to install fascia all around my house and soffits around the porch.

The process and work was amazing and I would hire them again. Camilo came out super quick to provide a quote and the work was completed faster than anticipated in the busy part of the summer. They finished the whole thing in only a couple of days. I thought they would struggle because of the high angle of the house and because it was an old house using old materials built in the early 1900s. However, they completed everything quickly and didn't complain about any of the irregularities of the house. This has not been my experience with other contractors working and it was a pleasant surprise to have the professionallism of roofing monkeys.

Lastly, the price they provided was fair, even beating out some of the competitors, and the quality of work was great. I am happy I went with them and couldn't recommend them enough.

I’m not usually someone who likes to post reviews, especially about contractors! But when Roofing Monkey asked, I couldn’t say no. I had ice-dam damage last winter, and when Camillo first came, he didn’t try to sell me anything. Instead, he gathered information, took pictures, and went back to his office to discuss with his team the best way to prevent the same issue from happening again. He showed me the options and guided me through the process over several visits. I was extremely pleased with his team’s work—replacing the gutters, installing leaf guards, fascia, soffits, and even a solar fan. They also removed my chimney with care and made the drainage system simple and more effective. That’s how they build trust, and we’ve already booked them again for next year to replace our shingles.

Roofing Monkeys did a great job on our house. We had an aging and degrading shingle roof. Loosing shingles on every windy or stormy day.
Christian stopped by to review the scope of work and was very informative of the situation i had up top. He discussed the various options available and the step they go through, replacing the old roof and the application of the new roofing materials. We went with a full strip and replace, to avoid any irregular overlay issues and couldn't be happier with the end look
They redid all the flashing and drip endging and put down a membrane over the entire roof, before the 20yr shingles were fastened.
They cleaned up all around the property and we're done in less than 2 days!
Really happy with the end product and the house looks great!
