I couldn’t recommend more. Prices are more than fair. Gary was excellent to work with. I used a NYS home loan improvement program for the project. Great experience with window installation. I purchased all new windows for my house. Very easy to work with to select the windows. They arrived sooner than expected which was a great thing for me and they were able to schedule me for installation soon after. Windows look great. Very happy with everything.
We recently had 16 windows replaced - Gary and John were a pleasure to work with and the installation team did an excellent job. Installation was quick, very neat and informative. We had 2 previous estimates prior to deciding on Window Depot - We HIGHLY recommend Window Depot
I was NOT a happy customer of Window Depot in Cohoes and would NOT recommend them!They refused to wrap 3 of my windows during installation, wouldn’t deduct it from the invoice, and still demanded payment in full. After explaining my dissatisfaction, they did not care. I paid in full, but I will NOT be hiring them again in the Spring to do a bay window and replace my basement windows as I originally intended. I’m already looking into other companies.They also reused window trim from the old windows and attempted to hide it with a lot of calk (picture attached). It honestly looks terrible. I paid a lot of money for these windows and I was left cheated.I recommend saving yourself a hassle and hiring a different company. The communication was poor and the disappointing surprises at installation was simply poor business practice. I’ve already steered my neighbor away from them based off of my experience. My word of mouth will continue until they fulfill the contractual agreement. Their end goal is cheating the customer, not leaving them happy!I’m convinced the positive reviews on here are fake!***In regard to the owner’s narcissistic response- his “story” is not what happened. He didn’t care about my dissatisfaction until I wrote this deserving review. I was the one who brought up concern about the 3 awnings since the day of estimate, and they were “not an issue” until day of install when he cheated me. After he left the job site early, his installers informed me they had no issue removing the awnings, but HE instructed them not to do so. His installers felt I was entitled a refund and told me to ask for one. I asked and was told NO! I still mailed payment in full to complete my obligation of the contract. Window Depot did not fulfill their obligation to the contract and still hasn’t.I continue to not recommend Window Depot and will not be hiring them to complete my project in the Spring.I paid Window Depot in full, didn’t receive what I paid for. Attempt to contact me all you want, but I am not interested in doing anymore business with you. Feel free to send me my refund for the portion of work you refused to perform. You’ve already informed me you won’t refund, so I’m not expecting you to do the right thing. This review is accurate and stays. You earned it. If anyone is looking to replace windows in your home, give your business to Window Depot. From start to finish this company is not only the lowest price in the area and a super smooth process from start to finish, the team of 3 installers worked together like a well oiled machine did a phenomenal job and are professional, courteous and above all TOP NOTCH!!!! other than a new window, you would never know they were here. Highly recommend Window Depot. ??
