On the installation date, the team was clean, respectful, and very careful with our property. The installation of our 106-inch window was done neatly and with great craftsmanship.We had to change the installation date a few times due to a family illness, and Mike was completely understanding and flexible in accommodating our schedule. One of the things we appreciated most about Mike is his willingness to go above and beyond. While walking around our home, I mentioned a few concerns, including a chain-link fence, and asked if he knew anyone who could fix it. Our company needed 2 slider windows and one picture window replaced for an apartment we are working on that was involved in a fire & oh man Mike saved the day for us!! After calling 2 other window companies one gave us a basic quote over the phone who clearly didn't want to deal with such a little job he was so rude and the other company was a no-show to the quote wasting our time. Mike jumped on the job with NO issues. We did unfortunately bug him in the middle of having a baby and he still came through! He got the windows in on time and everything looks so good! I'm a stickler for how the caulk looks on the outside and he passed my inspection. All windows had foam around them, all of them were square & the 2 slid perfectly! There wasn't a spec of trash left behind by him either which I appreciate A LOT. We contract very little out that we don't do and I'm so glad we found Mike/Legacy. Had Mike come out to cover up a window.Honestly the thought of getting rid of a window never crossed my mind and we initially thought we would would move our window from one wall to another to open up the living room space since we have a living room layout that is a bit awkward. He came in with the idea of just covering up the window (especially since a window can be installed later if we wanted). Instead of making it a bigger profit job he focused on what is best for the layout even if it meant the job was smaller.The conversations with Mike have been very thought provoking and really made me focus on what is best for us rather than him just doing what I thought we wanted. We asked about a skylight for the bathroom since both our bathrooms don't have windows and he said he wouldn't as its the number one cause of leaks so he once again showed that he cared to make sure we are after peace of mind.So we ended up just covering up one window to move our entertainment center. He hired a drywall contractor (one with 42 years of experience) to make sure the wall looked seamless. Mike said you can do most of the job yourself pretty easy but the Dry Wall part is a work of art and it showed. I had a unique idea that since this was an exterior wall I wanted to build a PVC shoot for cabling for future proofing a TV hanging on the wall in case we had to change cables. The drywall contractor made it look so clean. Initially it was a 1 day drywall job but because it was cold the mud wouldn't set in time so they came back the following day to make sure it was done right.Truly couldn't be happier with the quality of labor.Mike's scheduling might be a little random at times but rest assured the quality is superb.
Updated: Hired Mike a second time to replace a patio door for us. His service was great, he completed the work in a quality manner & cleaned up fully when he finished. Will certainly consider for more projects in the future.I hired Mike to install a casement window in our son’s play room. His communication was great, he showed up on time, finished the job with attention to detail and charged a fair price for the work. I was very pleased to find Mike left the space cleaner than when he started and even took the time to foam another window I had installed weeks earlier. Will certainly choose Mike and Legacy for future window and door needs in my home.
