I highly recommend C&D Home Solutions. We had them replace our old windows and install a door that I purchased separately and decided at the last minute not to put up myself. I was very happy with the price, quality, and speed of the service.

The windows look great and were installed and were finished ahead of schedule. The team also went above and beyond when installing the door- I had damaged the frame unloading it from my car, knocking a small chip out of it in a place and expected to fix it myself when they were done with the job, but they found the chipped off piece and glued and sanded it back in place on their own initiative.

This place went above and beyond for us. Kevin Crane was a godsend and the entire team there treated us like old friends! We had recently purchased our first house and the exterior doors on our house were supposed to be replaced by the seller and were not. They were terrible and had openings on all sides of door and one without any framing too, so we desperately needed new ones that fit and would seal and prevent air and bugs from coming in or out. We got quoted by multiple companies for doors, even the same exact Provia doors that C&D quoted and installed for us, but other companies were quoting us for about double or triple the price. Kevin was nice enough and extremely knowledgeable to take my calls knowing I was getting quotes from other companies to answer questions about what other companies were telling me was impossible for us to get at the price we were able to get with C&D for brand of door and warranty with. Kevin helped us make sure that we weren't just a number to him and his company and helped us prevent ourselves from being scammed into paying twice the amount just to make a sales person some extra cash. We also were expecting our first born and Kevin and the entire team at C&D did everything in their power to get us taken care of before baby arrived! Would recommend this company to anyone looking for doors, windows and just honest and trustworthy people to work on your home projects. The quality, price and overall treatment of customers is far surpassed anything we could've hoped for! Thank you Kevin and the entire C&D team! You guys made this time such a stress free and seamless experience. We'll be back for windows eventually and will be recommending to everyone we know!

Dates of Project 6/11/25 - 7/11/25
Unfortunately, our overall experience with C&D Home Solutions was extremely disappointing due to poor quality work, lack of accountability, and unprofessional behavior from the operations manager, Joe.

We hired C&D to replace siding on one side of our home and to repair damaged siding and windows. Here is a summary of some, not all, of the issues we encountered:

1. The siding that was replaced was to match closely to the rest of the siding on the house. It is not even close. This was brought to Joe early on in the project. He defensively indicated that the siding was custom ordered and could not be returned. We had not asked if it could be returned, we simply asked questions about swapping to another siding pattern before too much work was done. Joe never did provide additional feedback/estimates and kept harping on the fact that the "custom" order was not refundable. We felt as though we had to move forward with the project, as we had already paid 90% of our overall invoice of ~$12,000. It is generally expected that samples or images be provided prior to custom orders. Unfortunately, that step was skipped, and we are now left with a mismatched siding that will need to be corrected by another provider at our expense.

2. The siding that was replaced was installed incorrectly in a board-board pattern (missing battens) in some areas. This was brought to Joe's attention, and he insisted it wasn't an error. Antonio's crew eventually made this correction.

3. Substandard repairs were made to the windows and additional siding. The crew was to repair rotted spots with material from the remainder of the house. Rather than replacing the rotted wood, it was simply caulked over it in spots. This was brought to Joe, as well, who disregarded it entirely and was hostile in his response.

4. Paint and caulking overall was extremely sloppy, requiring days of us babysitting the project to ensure that we weren't left with an unfinished job. Many of these items were corrected but about 5-6 were not. One that was not: we have French doors on the back. One of the doors was painted in error. It was left half painted with refusal to correct. We will now need to correct this ourselves or pay another company to do it.

5. Unused material was returned to the warehouse, which contradicts the custom order/return policy Joe outlined earlier in the project. There was no effort by C&D to return the product that was custom ordered for us and paid for by us. It cannot be custom ordered and also from the warehouse. The discrepancies in these statements are alarming and make us feel as though we were lied to and that shady business is being conducted.

On 7/11/25, Joe arrived to collect the final payment despite the work being incomplete. When my husband calmly asked about the remaining items, Joe responded with accusations and hostility. His behavior was not only unprofessional but also physically aggressive in demeanor (today and in most instances prior). We asked him to leave the property, and all communication and payment were finalized through Sandy.

We remained patient and respectful throughout the process even though repeated requests for another representative to intervene were ignored. In the end, my husband had to correct the remaining issues himself, as C&D made it clear they were ready for payment with no intention of completing the work.

We had hoped for a better outcome, but unfortunately, this experience compels us to leave a negative review. We recommend others avoid business with C&D Home Solutions. If you do choose to move forward with them based on other reviews, please be wary of Joe and perhaps have someone present to witness his behavior and reaction to being asked to do what he was hired to do.

We just had C&D Home Solutions remove and replace all our windows at our house and we were impressed with the quality of work! They moved fast and efficiently. The crew that worked at our home took their time and made sure to keep a clean work space. We have dogs and they were able to work with them being in the house. They even accommodated us having meetings and not being too loud. We plan on using C&D Home Solutions for all our future projects!
