Reviews often note helpful product guidance and professional installation, with several customers mentioning friendly, knowledgeable staff. Some feedback highlights positive experiences with plantation shutters and specialty shades. There are also a few critical comments citing pricing concerns and inconsistent customer service. Overall ratings trend positive, but experiences can vary by project and staff interaction.
Ray was really awesome and our blinds look fantastic! If you are looking for custom window treatments, The Blind Place is definitely where you want to go!
Salesman was rude. Prices quotes came to 114$ a foot for automated blinds. Lowes sell them sized and installed for half that. Insane markup.
They were very friendly and knowledgeable, more knowledgeable than I expected. I was impressed on Andrews service, friendliness, professionalism, and advice. This place will not sell you something to make a sell, rather find out what is best for your needs.I had an old valence that needed new connections or hooks. Andrew took the time to look through old stock and could find one that matched what I needed. Andrew even took the time to give me new connections. He did work up a price on 3 new customs valences in case the new clips didn’t work out. The price was ultra reasonable! Went home tried the new connections and they actually worked out better than expected. No need for new valences and he even gave me 2 more connections so my other valences would be the same height's. Seriously reach out to Andrew before going anywhere else. He will treat you well and create a solution for your needs.
Unfortunately, the blind place is going down fast. Ever since Mr. Bill was injured, a guy named Andrew has pretty much taken over. This is my third time working with the blind place. My first 2 times were with Mr. Bill. This was a wonderful experience. My last time working with them was horrible. Because Mr. Bill was injured and I had to deal with Andrew. The job was ok but the customer experience was negative. Andrew is disrespectful and a liar. I believe I’ve been overcharged and was told that my warranty was only good for one year. However, checking with Insolroll, the warranties are from 5 years to lifetime. I only had my shade for 2 years. I was overcharged and ended up paying $4k for my shade. I did a price check and my shade was only $3k. If Mr. Bill returns, perhaps you’ll have a good experience. But as long as Andrew is running things, beware of slimy behaviors.
Pleasure doing business with The Blind Place. Prompt, professional and at a fair price. We will do business with these folks again and recommend you do the same. We had a combination of Plantation shutters and accordion style shades in the bedroom.
