I have used buffalo glass block multiple times for multiple different projects I had going on. I was always satisfied with them until this year. I had them come to a rental property and a silly mistake was done, but it was easily taken care of. I then had them come to my personal house to replace my basement windows and the installer we had was very nice and professional and did a great job on the windows. He was late to the job, but that was no fault of his own due to the prior job he was at. When he arrived he had 5 windows to do. I feel the company has set him up for failure sending him alone. This was a 2 man job. Luckily my husband was there the whole day and gave him a hand. My husband worked by his side, helping take out the windows, clean up in the window area, mix up mortar, and the installer was still at my house until 6pm. If my husband wasn't there to help he either wouldn't of finished the job and I would have an open hole in my basement until the next time they were able to come back, or he would've been at our house until 9PM. I called Chris the next day to give him some feedback on how good the installer was but how poorly the situation was handled and that my husband had to do all this work to help him, and chris basically just said this is not a 2 mans job and thanks for the feed back. Very rude about it and I don't think I will be using these guys again for future projects. It's a shame I've been a loyal customer and they didn't even offer some kind of compensation, just a cold answer back to my feedback.
My experience with Buffalo Glass Block was totally positive. Tom Sullivan came to the house and described in detail their product and process. He was cordial and knowledgeable. Chris called the day before installation to go over details with me. Austin and Jordan arrived within the specified hours. Austin called ahead to let me know they'd be at my house in about 20 minutes. They got right to work and did the job efficiently and quietly. They are both wonderful young men. They answered all my questions. They cleaned up after themselves. I called Buffalo Glass Block to compliment them and their work. The owner, Steve Guntrum, answered the phone. He was very pleasant. I appreciate everyone who was involved with this process. I'm delighted with my new windows.
Bill and Lila came today to do three windows in the basement and one in my garage. They called 10-20 minutes ahead of time. Told me they were on their way. They were polite, professional, and did a great job. Swept up in the basement when they were done. Were courteous and respectful of my dog in the house. Thank you so much
Look no further, Buffalo Glass Block is the installer you have been working for! Ed and Noelle called ahead, arrived on time, and immediately got right to work. They replaced 70 year old original windows in my basement, did and absolutely fantastic and professional job. They were mindful to keep their workspace clean, ensured that I was informed through every step of the process, and left the basement as clean as they found it. They needed to do some build up since my windows were below the level of my driveway, and the work they did is truly a work of art. I now have ventilation in my basement, no window leaks, and my basement ALREADY feels warmer. If you're on the fence about getting glass block windows installed, just do it! Make sure to ask for Ed and Noelle!
Buffalo Glass Block was amazing from start to finish. The quoting process was easy. They worked with me to do larger vents than normal, as I wanted the ability to have more airflow. The installers Eric & Austin were awesome. They showed up on time, were friendly awesome guys. Courteous, did an awesome job doing 12 oversized windows in one day. Cleaned up all the debris and hauled away the old windows. A++ recommend them in a heartbeat. Thank you guys!
