Working with The Shade Store was a smooth and professional experience from start to finish. Darine at the Cambridge store was incredibly helpful throughout the process, and is an expert in all the available window treatment options. Darine guided us toward specific solutions like side channels for minimizing light in the bedroom that we hadn't even considered previously. Our installer, Frank, was also very skilled and efficient, and walked us through the setup of motorized shades on multiple levels of the house. When the initial measurements didn't quite work out for a single basement window in our 1800s built house, the Shade Store team handled the remake and re-installation efficiently and at no additional cost. The final results look great, and I would certainly recommend their services.
Loved working with Darine. She automatically knew my style and helped me to choose the perfect fabric. The installers were efficient and professional. The installation was seamless. They took the time to carefully steam my drapes so they looked wonderful when completed.
Finally got window treatments after 13 years and couldn't be happier with the entire experience. The Harvard Square showroom is terrific. We were treated very well from start to finish: lots of selection, excellent and skilled service at the show room, and the measurer and installer were knowledgable, neat, and on time. If we'd known it was going to be this easy, we might have done it years ago! We will definitely be back for more shades once we finish replacing the windows.
After 20+ years of Home Depot, self-cut blinds, I chose The Shade Store for new blinds, and I'm so thrilled I did. Darine led the design and sales experience, and the installation team was fantastic. As one technician was leaving, he give great tips on cleaning the blinds to help their longevity, and told me about the history of the company – the founder and his sons. He takes immense pride in the company, the products, and the fact that it continues to be privately owned. His perspective, and the fact that he was empowered and proud to share it, made this purchase even more valuable for me.
My experience with The Shade Store in Harvard was amazing. I was assisted by Kristine, who gave me so many options and helped me narrow down my choices. She really worked to get me what I needed. I used the measuring service which went well and the technician was very pleasant. There was a small glitch with my order and I only mention it because Kristine immediately fixed the issue and checked in afterwards to make sure I was happy, that's great customer service. I would 100% use then again.
