From the initial quote to final installation, Preferred Windows and Siding were wonderful to work with and did an incredible job (Windows, Vinyl Siding, and Gutters). During the quote process Tim and Gary were efficient with my time. Their experience and product knowledge quickly shined as identified solutions to my needs that I didn’t know were available - ie a frosted window for the picture window facing the street in my bathroom (what were those builders thinking!). They made choosing the right siding product for my needs a breeze as well as offering quality name brand windows. Their prices were competitive as well. Install started within a few weeks and took just about a week as they had estimated to complete. The contractors were all beyond my expectations when it came to clean up in the house on window install, daily clean up in the yard, working carefully around my gardens etc. They were meticulous with picking up nails - even neighbors commented on how neat they left my yard at the end of the day. Towards the end of the project they had a light above my garage down and I told them they could leave it down because I was replacing it so I’d put up the new one when they were finished. They asked if I’d bring them the light, they’d gladly put the new one up for me. All of the little things added up to one great experience. Tim and Gary stopped by multiple times during the project to make sure things were running smoothly. This was by far the largest home renovation project I have hired anyone for, yet the only one that went off so flawlessly from start to finish. My house looks beautiful on the outside, and I can already notice a difference in the energy efficiency on the inside. Thank you Gary, Tim, Alex, and your Team!

We hired Preferred Windows and Siding to replace the siding, windows, soffit, and fascia on the second story of our home. We got quotes from other companies, but were frustrated with their sales tactics and high prices.

In contrast, Tim and Gary (the owners) were a pleasure to work with. They presented our options without wasting our time or giving us a hard sell. They were the only company that bothered to follow up with a quote over the phone - everyone else just sent an email and we never heard from them again.

Preferred's quote wasn't the lowest of the bunch, but their price was well worth it because they used high-quality materials and their crew did a top-notch job! They offered attractive financing as well.

Our home is over a hundred years old, and nothing on it is plumb, level, or square. It's a challenging install. But Preferred's crew took the time to get the details right. They kept the jobsite very tidy throughout the project, and were good sports about our 4 small children gawking at them the entire time! It took a day or two longer to finish the project than expected due to factors outside their control, but they communicated along the way and didn't charge us extra for anything.

Tim and Gary both stopped by several times while work was in progress to check in. To me, it felt like they wanted our business, were personally invested in our project, and really cared about the results.

I am super pleased with Preferred. Our home looks so much better, and the new windows have really reduced drafts and noise. I hope to have them come back out in the coming years to replace our first floor windows and front door.

From the first consultation, during the installation process and once the job was finished, the owners walked us throughout the entire process, kept in contact and even stopped by to check on the crew’s progress. They dealt with our last minute color change without any issues. We are in love with our siding and our new deck. We would definitely recommend them and hope to use them for other jobs in the future.
