I was simply amazed by my experience with Thompson Creek. They were professional, experienced and the cost was reasonable.

We had a situation where we needed a sliding glass door replaced. The prior one, installed by a big box stores, apparently was not installed correctly and was allowing water to seek into the Family Room. It had damaged our sub-flooring as well. Thompson Creek installed the door and replaced all the wood beneath the door. I watched them through the installation and it was a high quality job.

From the quote process to the installation, and their priduct itself, their service and priduct was amazing! Lessons learned is that you "think" you may be saving money utilizing a big box stores to buy and install your doors or windows, but you may pay for it later due to their inexperience and the fact that their installers may not be competent.

They did an amazing job. Very respectful of our house by wearing shoe covers on our hard wood floors. They laid down covers and all. After they were done, they vacuumed up and cleaned up after themselves. It was a true white glove experience. They showed me all the features of the windows. I’ve been extremely satisfied from start to finished. Would highly recommend them!

The whole process from sales to installation was excellent. The installers were professional, courteous and efficient. They cleaned up and took away the old doors. The two new doors make our homes safer and are very nice to look at. This was our second project with Thompson Creek and the whole experience was terrific and I would recommend them to anyone.

These guys were fantastic. They arrived early and finish the job within a couple of hours while I was working from home. Extremely professional people who took their time but yet also insured that every step of the way I was satisfied and triple checked with me what we were installing was in fact what I ordered which was a reassuring.

Dwayne was the most knowledgeable Builder I have spoken to in a long time so I do hope if you can move with Ford with these guys you sure get him on your project.

We are extremely pleased with our experience with Thompson Creek (TC). David was our sales representative, and we questioned him extensively about the materials, costs and installation process. He answered all our questions to our satisfaction. We received a quote for 13 double hung windows and one picture window.
Jorge, customer success coordinator, communicated (email, text, phone) with us. We found out that our town requires a local work permit for window replacement. No problem, we sent a copy of the form and when the preconstruction manager, Antoine, came to verify measurements, he also handled the town permit and fee so we would be in compliance.
On the day of installation, it rained on and off all morning. No problem for TC. The crew arrived 10 minutes early and the windows were removed and installed in under 2.5 hours, with respective cap work, caulking, and cleanup to be completed. We were impressed with their seamless installation process. The 3-person crew were professional and respectful of our home. Luckily, the rain stopped and all the windows were cleaned and spotless.
We noticed our home is MUCH better insulated and the temperature remains constant. The new windows have elevated the comfort and curb appeal of our home. We feel we received a quality product and excellent customer service.
We have one tempered window that was recently installed and not replaced. If we do decide in the future to replace it, it will be TC.

Exceptional Professionalism from Start to Finish

We connected with Thompson Creek through Costco for a jacuzzi bathroom project, and the experience has been outstanding. From the very first contact, their team was incredibly responsive — they reached out promptly and scheduled our consultation at the earliest available date, which we really appreciated.

The contractors who visited our home were knowledgeable, courteous, and thorough. They took precise measurements and walked us through the entire process step by step, making sure we understood every detail. We were also shown demos of the materials, which gave us a clear picture of the quality we'd be getting and helped us feel confident in our choices.

To top it off, the quote they provided was extremely competitive — far more favorable than we expected for the level of quality and service being offered.

We are very pleased with the professionalism, expertise, and attention to detail that Thompson Creek brought to this project. If you're a Costco member considering a bathroom renovation, we highly recommend giving them a call. You won't be disappointed.

So disappointed that we used Thompson Creek for our windows, shutters and main door. We spent over $65k to have work done and from the very beginning it was a disaster. Windows that are supposed to top of the line were not built correctly so they had to come back out to replace 4 or 5 of them. The shutters were not anchored properly so they kept coming off and had to be replaced. The worst is yet to come. They Installed a brand new front door with side lights. The door barely lasted five years because of their incompetency during the installation. There was an issue with water leaking down into the frame which they didn’t somehow bring up or correct when they installed the new door. The new frame and door began to warp and has been rotting away. I first noticed the issue about seven months ago And after numerous calls and emails, they never came out. They never called me back to schedule for someone to take a look. It wasn’t until my wife called the sales department with interest in buying a new door that they called us the same day and we were asked to be routed to the service department. Again, absolute incompetency by a supposed trusted company. They refused to cover any of the door and said that it was other issues that caused it, but they couldn’t get their story straight when they had two different guys come out to review it. I have a full recording of them admitting through my ring camera And they admitted that the side Light spacers were failing which they said was manufacturer error. Do not waste your money or time with this company they offered cheap products and they don’t back Their work in anyway, unless They have no choice. If I could give this company less than a zero star rating I would.

I’m writing this for future customers and current management. I was once a huge fan and supporter of Thompson Creek as my wife and I have spent over $40,000 with the company over the last 5 years. This would include replacing the siding, gutters, windows and all doors to the home. We’ve had excellent customer service with the sale and installation of the product but now that we need to use the warranty for the product we are being informed that we must pay to have our storm door fixed after a storm. Thompson Creek product could not survive a Maryland storm and the storm door completely blew open and destroyed the entire door to the point that pieces have broken off and are currently hanging from the frame. This has become a safety concern and an issue for our HOA. When I contacted Thompson Creek customer service I spoke to a Aubryana Galloway who advised that Thompson Creek would not warranty my storm door and that I must pay again to have the door installed. My question I asked was why would I pay to have a door installed again with inferior quality just to have it break again? During the sales transaction, I was informed that Thompson Creek had a warranty that would cover any issues except if I intentionally broke the items. I was also told, these products could withstand mid Atlantic weather but yet it could not withstand a Maryland storm. Although we were sold on the belief that Thompson Creek provided impact-resistant windows and doors to help prepare our home for storms. Per Thompson Creeks website

These statements and standards are clearly a thing of the past. I will no longer recommend Thompson Creek to my community at the next HOA meeting or to my coworkers. I will instead inform them of my experience and Thompson Creek adjusted standards.

During the course of this project I met quite a few of the Thompson Creek team; the office sales team, project managers and Alfredo's 5 man installation team. Initially I was very impressed that they all seem to love working at Thompson Creek.
It really shows in their work.

We had no less than 4 QA folks turn up over a two day installation of 40 windows.

The installation took place precisely, as promised on the calendar. I watched some of the work closely. They filled cavities well and applied caulking tidily.
It was very clear to me that Alfredo's team were using materials generously, well and very conscientiously.

I know of no issues with window measurements or saw any condition issues with the items on delivery.

Their handling of the heavy two large front windows was exemplary.

They were careful, skilled and very fast too, fixing the 14 windows for our Sunroom in under an hour, before finishing thoroughly finishing the install the next day.

They pushed themselves very hard to fit those 40 windows in only two days, and their professional attitude was awesome.

Post install inspection showed a very thorough installation, even in places that are not easy to see such as a basement window installed under the deck. The deck also rested against one window while the fence was firmly agaInst another.
All dealt with well.

Highly recommended.

Thompson Creek installed new windows, door, storm door, and sliding glass patio doors. It was a major refurbishment due to age of windows and doors of my home. It was an all day installation. the team Thompson Creek sent out were really good, very professional, and mercifully tolerant of my rescue pittie who was very vocal about their intrusion in her space. The crew also left everything pristine (no nails, no trash left over). If I was to have a critique it would be that they might want to leave a FAQ/Cheat sheet of what to expect or look for after installation such as on condensation, etc., and maybe including expectations as to what will happen with weather-related delays. Small potatoes.

Overall, I am very happy with the entire process and so far the new windows and doors are great.
